STF_OSC-WAVE CYCLES — Pixelated dingbat pictographs

¶  Over the last two-and-a-half years or so I've excesively been working on this large DIY undertaking, and has been quietly in the making since. This is the development of a custom‒built 17-part hybrid analog/digital multi-synthesis engine and hardware controller.

¶  The main operating system (OS) architecture is assembled for Teensy 4.1 32-bit ARM‒based Cortex M7 (MCU — microcontroller unit). GUI interface is running a Library to control basic graphical functions for 128×64 multi-color LED‒backlit DOT matrix LCD display module. This specifically sets interface pixel grid to 128×64‒sized ratio. Important in understanding the area in which creative decisions are made — required for coding and performed size-check of elements of all screen elements, since pixel‒perfect, in this case is the norm.

¶  This is a set of pixelated dingbat pictographs, consisting of various waveform representations that illustrate periodic function cycles in signal processing, more specifically, sound-synthesis. Intended to supplement a collection of bitmap fonts that eventually will be designed.

¶  Adding multiple tailor-made bitmap fonts — specifically the number of size-interpolation steps for font‒scalability, the different style fonts and additional dingbat sets to further establish various identities of the different GUI-components for now, is one still in ongoing trial-and-error testing.

Miiverse stamps from NES Remix 1&2.
Since miiverse shut down, I thought it would be nice to be able to use these stamps in some other way and this is the only one I could think of. Some have been altered from the original pixel art (like Wario) and mirrored versions of some characters and the speech/thought bubbles. And yes, this took a LONG time. All rights belong to Nintendo. 

Strictly 8x16/8x8 monospaced arcade-style font inspired by Old Church Slavonic manuscripts and Cyrillic vyaz majuscules. Designed for all-lowercase body text with occasional all-caps headers, as in historical manuscripts- but works well with mixed caps.

500+ glyphs, including extensive support for accented Latin letters, world currency symbols, and custom Roman numerals, along with assorted dingbats and multiocular O scribal glyphs used in Old Church Slavonic in text referencing eyes.

Support for majuscule punctuation, more non-Latin scripts, and more extended Latin & dingbats possibly upcoming.

If you know any of the non-Latin scripts included, please let me know of any gaps/accuracy or legibility issues!

A set of decorative tiles for use as dividers, to call  for attention when placed in texts, to use as web backgrounds, etcetc.

UC is 8x8,  LC is  7x7.

This is not just another tile set that simply uses a wider variety of brick in each glyph. I added "twists". I wonder how long before someone notices ;)

I have made a font with International Maritime Signal Flags before, but this time they are coloured correctly (in grey scale). White is blank (  ), yellow is little dots (::), red is 33% diagonals (\\), blue is 50% diagonals (//), black is filled. Lower case letters are the patterns with no colouring, for those who want to colour in the fields themselves.

I have now added numbers. The regular numerals (0-9) are the square NATO flags, and the subscript numerals (₀₋₉) are the templates of the NATO number flags. The roman numerals (I-X, X representing 0) are the longer ICS flags, and the lower case roman numerals (i-x) are the uncoloured ICS flags.

On top of that there are four substitute flags, which can be found in the superscript numbers (¹⁻⁴) and the fifth fractions (⅕-⅘).
