:::DBA MUSLIM:::
DBA comes from "don't be afraid"
I'm really disturbed when the world is being Islamophobic... oh my god.. They think all terrorists are Muslim..
No! The fact is 6% of terrorist attack in US and 0.4% terrorist attack in Europe are Muslim. That was very tiny number.
I just wanna get my full right as world society and i can get all of appreciation of humanity and recognition of our community (i.e our people, religion, cultures, folks, traditions). I'm Indonesian Muslim, i see many differences between Indonesian Muslim and Middle East Muslim. We'r rather like Turkey, we are moderate Muslim. We live together with Christians, Catholics, Hindu, Buddhist, Kong Hu Chu, some other Jews in a peace. (Indonesia is anti with Atheism)

Mostly inspired by the video game QBert, which was, I'm sure, partly inspired by M. C. Escher.
IsoMatrix was a font long before Fontstruct, and was much harder to realize with bricks than vectors.
This one is shared thanks to the intricate 3D output of the following fontstructors:
shasta's Escheresk,
frodo's Hommage a Escher,
and
funk king's Soma.
It is also released for Em42, because it was created purely with the original set of bricks that Fontstruct started out with.This is a clone

Clone of Brick Street with solid bricks. There are lots of different effects you can get by only replacing the first two bricks in the brick tool. If you set the brick width in "filters" to 2x, it looks pretty good at a pixel level.This is a clone of Brick Street

3d stencil font based on the teatral character set. yeah, just a modification... why make it hard and timeconsuming if you can have it fast and easy.:P
the lower case characters are just without stencil effect.
btw. i released this already, but i cloned it for a fill font and modified the original one accidentally... that's why the comments are gone, sorry!This is a clone

This took me many, many hours of trying, learning, erasing and restarting. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. It's downloadable yet, but i had to erase some glyphs...
ps:
there's an alternate "a" on "@",
and some decorative stuff on "#" and "*".
cheers

Well, apparently everybody here likes building letters... And I'm sure everybody got told at least once to finally shut down that damn computer while fontstructing.
Here's how you can go on tinkering fonts even with the computer unplugged!;)
I had carried this idea around with me a long time ago, doing some sketches, but abandoning it cause I thought all the thin and dotted lines would go beyond fontstruct's possibilities. Until funk_king proved me wrong... Thanks for the re-inspiration!
I think this is pretty self-explaining. Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dotted lines and put some glue on the shaded parts, put it all together, and there you go with your new toys!
Unfortunately it was impossible to fill all the inner sides of all the counters, but I tried to leave them open where you'd see it least. There might also be some bugs, I haven't tried them out yet. Pure brainwork so far... (My brain's still in the freezer to cool down a bit) In case someone ever actually uses them and finds something wrong, please let me know!
Hope you like it!:)
Check out the fill font if you wanna print your own custom-made design on the letters!

I intended to make some sort of an M.C.Escher tribute here. I'm sorry this isn't very complete and far from being perfectly well done, but it somewhat started to make me feel dizzy...;) And even though I'm not very convinced by this, I don't think I'd come up with a way better execution soon.
I hope for Mr Escher that there are better tribute fonts for him out there! He'd definitely deserve it...
It was by the way funk_king's Impossible Alphabet that reminded me of this unfinished thing laying around in my messy unpublished fontstructions box, and made me take it out and finish it. (If you can call 42 characters "finished".)
Also check out Frodo7's Hommage à Escher, geneus1's IsoMatrix 3D, and funk_king's Soma for some other great Escher-esque fontcrafting!

The letters can easily be made more legible. But it gets to be FUN & a-MAZE-d. Every letter/word has a solution. 4 types of spaces: space bar, @, #, %. Try it.
This is my homage to the late Dutch master. I tried to capture the impossible geometry, sense of space, and even the colours of his works. You can see and download the new v2 here:

well another escher inspired set. however with this one i was also influenced by the soma cube - which is very escheresk itself. actually i don't know if i'm more happy about this set which is much more simple and clean than my previous efforts or that i finally googled upon the soma cube which i had as a kid and wasted many hours playing with...much like now with fs :)
thanks to frodo7 with Homage a Escher and shasta with Escheresk for providing great examples of clarity and inventiveness of design in this genre.

greek and cyrillic shaping up;

[update April, 2013:: The basic latin set has morphed into a new gothic sans design thanks to a host of solutions enabled by the new propeller bricks.]

I produced this for my "communicating with words" first year module on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design course at UWE Bristol, England. It pays homage to Ralph Steadman and is a true testament to what you can do on fontstruct, if you’re willing to spend a week in front of a computer in your underpants.

Inspired by a picture found on this website.
Another diagonal line font so soon after fs Overlap. A mere coincidence. The application of each is very different. Overlap is about negative space while I-Tilic is about patterns and meta shapes. Post samples if you end-up playing with this fontstruction. Have fun.
[ = fi ligature ] = ti ligature < = background fill (negative) > = background fill (positive) ` = reverse tile (above base line) ~ = reverse tile (full height) { = top border } = bottom border | = side border

inspired by Redonda and the other excellent fonts that have been done in this style. this is my first dot font. i searched to see if there were any italics and didn't find any; but they may be hiding here somewhere. started with lc just to see if i could do a basic set. then went for the uc and decided to make it a little more fancy or lyrical, if you will. then one thing led to another and i can't believe i did the whole basic latin :) i thought about waiting to release it, but changed my mind. this was fun and allows for the visualization of curves which really can't be done in FS. but still, i guess it's not like the real thing. oh, well :)

something i've been working on recently. i'm still looking for a solution to virtually increase my screen resolution, so i would have more grid space. i don't know if the line strength is consistent and i propably won't start with the capital letters until then. anyway i thought i might as well throw this in to see what you guys think about it so far.

A scaled back version of the original Fractal Font (fragment). Because of the self-similarity of the pattern, the two are virtually identical. For template I used Magor, with some modifications. Lower case only.

This is my attempt to create a robust, almost military grade slab serif stencil. The whole project was largely inspired by the music clip bearing the same title by Nathalie Cardone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqYHeX0i0NU&feature=related). It is a work in progress, glyphs may change in the final version.

Ultra heavy slab serif uppercase only face, subtly celebrating the 4x1 diagonals of fontstruct 2.0...
I hope some people will find more stylish uses for this than on college shirts/jumpers. It actually wasn't intended to have that standard college slab serif look, and I desperately believe that there's still a nuance of difference, but that might be an illusion.
I btw just copied the uppercase letters on lowercase slots to make it more convenient. So don't be too impressed by the character count.;)

I decided to make a stencil version of my NCD Amphibian font.
I didn't have to change too much.
Slightly influenced by Afrojet's superb Whoopee which reminded me of NCD Amphibian when I first saw it.
There's still some tweaking to be done, so all comments welcomed.
