Finished! (Took me 3 days)
Private use characters are encoded in Variation Selectors and Latin Ext. D.
For my chosen theme Community (specifically biological community)
I decided to work with a worm/snake shape. Trying to figure out the final letter shapes during the creative process I got inspired by the snake game I'm sure everyone played on their old Nokia including me.
I observed the snake's movements in the game and created a typeface based on that. I would characterize my typeface as a simple combination of retro and modern at the same time.
Created by Nicole Rybáková as a first-year graphic design student at UWE Bristol Uni.
DOTTITI LIGHT REVERSE : Having - like many designers - looked out for decent 3x3 typefaces, I decided to try my own as each existing version had some flaws or didn't completely follow the rules. The slight difference here is that circles are used, giving more readability to some characters. I completely restricted the design to the 3x3 grid meaning some characters are pretty abstract, BUT they follow the rule! #dottiti #zissdesign
This is a cloneRecreation of the pixel font from Quintet/Enix's "ActRaiser" (1990) on the SNES.
This font includes a full set of hiragana and katakana characters. In the tile set, the dakuten and handakuten are separate tiles, positioned on the line above the character they relate to. In this recreation, these characters are pre-combined into a single glyph.
The japanese version of this game features subtly different punctuation. This recreation only includes the punctuation marks from the western release.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
This font is not official so you can mess with it and do whatever. I just wanted to make art out something I wanted to learn. This is more of a dedicated vent than a profit. Plus, I am not doing anything official or commercial with this. I just was bored and thought: Make blind people a font on braille.
DEDICATED TO BLIND PEOPLE
People every day are blinded or born blinded. Not in a sense of "you are stupid" type blind. They are actually blind and need symbols popping out as dots to read. They feel the words. This is known as Braille. I am kinda learning the alphabet of braille and its importance.
So, one day, I sat down and thought: Why not make a font for braille?
I know they might never see this or feel this, but I wanted to make something to show how I thought since every language gets their front, why not braille?
Using "Fractal" and several other sources for braille, here is my font of braille.
It is known as The DiRECTOR
Directs blind people to know where they are going and helps them dive into books and imagine worlds they might have not ever seen. The "I" is short to look like the hand touching the braille in our normal next just like I went and touch the text they read.
Mess with this and surprise your friends and learn braille similar to how I am and how they are by typing with this font.
Like I stated before:
DEDICATED TO BLIND PEOPLE
This is the new MBTA font originally used in all 4 theme parks (ones with a whiter MBTA origin: Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, etc.). The original MBTA font was later used in a yellow state of origin.
This is a font inspired by the word 'systematic'. My main influence when creating this font was archiecture and the form of buildings. I focused strongly on lines and the grid system as I felt this really fit the theme of 'systematic' and archiecture as both remind me of acting according to a fixed plan or system; methodical.
This is a cloneFor this project I was given the word "systematic" as inspiration. I looked into the imagery within the chinese military, looking at how the ordering and the syncronisity created an almost optical illusion effect. Because of this the military force looks more powerful than it may actually be, which is something I was intrested in capturing in my font. The typeface is rigid, geometric, and sans-serif.
This is a clone of Formation QB (first draft)Same as before, but the original Latin accents have not been modified as of yet. More to come soon on the end of this week.

This is a clone of Mac 7 1600 fontThis Display feature comes with a new package of glyph installments: The International Accented extensions, The IPA extensions, and lastly; The Cyrillic extensions. A new feature comes with its distinctive set of characters following up a new mood set to the Digital Era, entering up a trend of the classic Macintosh 7 font that was being cloned in by Idota Chatrkinsky. Just like the TelTech 6200 Display font, the Multi version is quite international in some parts.
This digitized font usually came in after August 7th, 1902.
This pixelated font was created on September 15th, 2019; 9:20 P.M..
