based on a 3×7 grid, this just skirts the edge of illegibility. originally posted 26/08/2004 http://www.splintered.co.uk/experiments/50/
This is a clone of 3x7 pixelsRecreation of the pixel font from Sega's "Asterix" (1991) on the Sega Master System.
Note that the font is 13px tall, as it includes some accented characters (which in game are rendered by stacking the accents above the appropriate character on the preceding line).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
a custom variant of the pixel font used in konami's "batman returns" (1993) on the SNES, modified from monospaced to proportional while trying to maintain the quirky ligatures built into the monospaced original. this version expands (and tweaks) the punctuation characters present in the actual game's tile set.
This is a clone of Batman Returns SNESA recreation of the faux-italic pixel font from Konami's "Biker Mice from Mars" (1994) for the SNES. Only the characters found in the game are included.
Updated 05/2017 to add a few missing characters and fix existing one.
Updated 07/2017 because the ampersand was missing a pixel...
Brick Basket in a format that's more useable for graphic artists. While the original was made for building new font designs, this one is made to be useful as a font in its own right.
I will update this one, along with the original, any time I have new ideas. Both designs have bricks that are unique to them, as well. This is due to glitches I encountered while cloning as well as the fact that BBRev2's designs are specifically for graphic art. BBRev2 also contains a few stock FS bricks just to expand the range of textures it can create.
This is a clone of Brick BasketThis is a military-style stencil font inspired by the original Stencil-Gothic face (by John West c. 1885), Ironmonger (by John Downer, 1991-93), and Pediker (by Kazimir Samoscanec, 2013). The latter one is a revival of a stencil face of unknown origin. Sorry for the dystopian future. I hope it will never happen.
