A fun font influenced by the memories of seeing my name on the scoreboard at Crystal Place National sports centre in the eighties, at the Southern and National Track and field Championships!

My stupid little scoreboard style typeface (hence the name: scoreboard=erbosdraco) Seen everywhere from Youtube to design blogs to Depeche Mode's Countdown page. Currently my most popular type on Fontspace.

Here's a throwback and a tribute to the old scoreboards of Dodger Stadium and the Astrodome.
The main alphabet, numbers, and some of the punctuation (the period, the apostrophe, and the T-shaped ampersand) are accurate to the original dot-matrix displays. However, much of the punctuation had to be improvised (there is no evidence of a question mark or comma being used on these scoreboards), as are the accented characters.
Updated on April 9, 2014: I made a slight modification on the colon and semicolon after a recent search on photos of the old Astrodome's scoreboard.

This font is based on a scoreboard and is pretty close to what a real scoreboard would be.

My update of Astra, a Letraset font designed by François Robert & Natacha Falda in 1973. I designed a matching lower-case set and additional punctuation.
The original seems to be a bit wider too, with more horizontal space between the stars than vertical.
UPDATE: Jan 25, 2010 - I fixed the $ and () to reflect the original design by doubling all of the character sizes. Also added { and }, and redesigned *.

Typical LCD scoreboard font. Digits are in standard segment positions. Letters have been extended beyond the usual LCD segments to give more readable alphabetic characters. If you prefer semi-proportional spacing, try our Digital Clock font.

Clone of BriteLite, which was inspired by Lite-Brite. Caps only, to keep things simple -- no pesky ascenders or descenders! This is a clone of BriteLite

More fun with vintage technology (a.k.a. Lite-Brite).
This version has complete upper case, lower case, and numerals, plus basic punctuation.
