This is the display font from the Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE calculator. This is different from the TI-84 Plus calculator, because the resolution of the CE is approximately three times higher. This was published on March 2nd, 2023 and is the original TI-84 display font that is a usable type font. Recreation of the pixel font from Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" (1993) on the Game Boy.
This recreation includes the special/accented characters from the french and german releases of the game. In game, the characters with a diaeresis use an additional tile above them - in this recreation, the characters have been combined properly (and as a result, the height of the font overall is greater than 8px).
As an aside, this font was also used for the fan translation of "For frog the bell tolls" (aka "カエルの為に鐘は鳴る" / "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru", 1992/2011).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Updated 9 July 2022 to include additional accented uppercase characters, and the star icon.
A tear-off ticket design. I went for the slightly gaudy look which is associated with carnivals and arcades.
While making this I also got the idea for a font which looks like a 35mm reel with little scenes on each segment...
Original size: 14.25pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
(Work in Progress)
This is a larger variation of my smaller 8-bit Nostalgia series, and assumes 16pt rendering. It's inspired in large part by the computers from my past: the Commodore 64, Atari, and IBM PC. In many ways, this font is closer to the font used for VGA text -- this font is on an 8x16 grid, while the VGA used a 9x16 grid. However, the VGA font has more letters with serifs, while this font avoids that whenever possible (aside from the typical I/i, L/l, J/j). Only a few other glyphs get serifs when they wouldn't otherwise need it to appear reasonably well-kerned.
This font uses an 8x16 pixel grid. The top three rows are reserved for ascenders and diacritics. The bottom four rows are reserved for descenders. This leaves nine rows for the capital forms, and seven rows for the lowercase forms.
Notable glyphs:
- The "A" and "V" is angled a bit more than usual in a font of this type.
- The "B" has a narrower top half in order to offset the fact that the top and bottom are equal height.
- "J" more closely resembles its lowercase form.
- "g" is a double-story form.
- "3", "4", "5", "6", "9" numerals are fairly unique forms
Clunkier clone of Ambin Mono (early development stage), 'Free for Personal Use' Demonstration version of Amblin Mono. Copyright Doug Peters 2018 & 2019. No Commercial Use. No Derivatives Allowed.
This is a cloneDerived from Chisato by Zephram.

Although Zephram's work is no longer apparent here, it exists in the underlying compressed letter forms and shapes of most of the characters that inspired me to give it a twist and make it monspaced with tapered ends.
Donations are super-appreciated. Credit for my contribution to this work IS also greatly appreciated.

This is a clone of ChisatoA multi-line design which is slightly reminescent of mazes/fingerprints. It's not designed to create functional mazes, but it is somewhat capable!
"Absinthelyric Print" is an anagram for "Labyrinthine Script".

Original size: 11.25pt. Use multiples of this value for pixel perfection. (If you use antialiasing, it will look perfect at most any size.)

Design rules:
1. Square bricks and 90-degree angles only.
2. Alphabetic glyphs must have open terminals; numerals and symbols must have closed terminals. Letters which do not terminate (D,O, etc.) must be broken so that they terminate.
3. Glyphs must fill the 15x15 grid.
4. Ligatures and combinatorial glyphs must fit into one letter's space.
5. Draw from the outside in.
a complete recreation of the original Amiga 500/1000/2000 Workbench 1.3 version of the default Topaz 8 font, with the addition of a handful of custom characters. this font is presented in the corrected, double-height ratio of 16 pixels, as it would have appeared on screen.
updated (07.12.2020) to correct the "T".
