This font was inspired by Balinese Culture. Offerings to God are an integral part of daily living for the Balinese, the majority of whom are Hindu. The Balinese are extremely devout and no day goes by without making offerings to the Gods.

Originally inspired by sacred tibetan writing. It was much harder to achieve the look than first anticipated. Tried to work each letter around a singular central curve and included features i noticed in tibetan writing.

As part of my "Found Type" project at UWE, we had to design a font for a theme that we chose. I chose Ornate. I was particularly drawn to this theme due to its relations with Biblical manuscripts and the architecture within Churches. I ended up combining the manuscript like lettering with features of Churches. I realised that this combination creates a great contrast between thick and thin, straight and curves. I found it difficult to create curves on font struct, but I rose to the challenge and created this. I hope you enjoy!

Clone of Deuteronomy 6:4. It may seem the same, but this one is for both the latin alphabet and the hebrew alphabet. This is a clone of Torah Sofer
