Reference to a barbell. Use - to make a bar between disks. Uppercase is the left part and lowercase is the right part of the barbell. Ziltemir means barbell in my language. Used white colored layer to cover up some black spaces. Experiemntal work with some intersting potential
This is one of the ways I've always wanted to use layering in Fontstruct. Finally, it's possible :) Just a quick font to test the new feature - a grey shadow (ligh source from left to right) that is cast on inner white space of the letters.
P.S. I won't be able to sleep today, so many ideas to test... Thank you, Rob!
This font draft was created with the theme of massive, I wanted to create something that looked physically imposing and noticeable. To create the structure, I looked at buildings and cityscapes around the busiest parts of Bristol City and wanted to play with perspective as if the viewer was standing beneath a building and looking up at it, I ended up making a font that reflected the uniformity and scale of buildings.
This is a cloneI was confused about the fact that it was 5 dollars a month to have a colored or layered font, so i made 2 “3D” fonts. This proves nothing at all. This is what i get for not reading things. I thought it was a one time payment
This is a cloneThis typeface was designed with the adjective 'Massive' in mind. I then chose to focus on trees, particulary the tree bark, to see how it is structured. I collected bits of bark from trees to see how bark can vary in its texture, such as, the 3D features and the visible cracks. This typeface could be used as a large title in posters, banners or headings for leaflets, possibly for environmental awareness campaigns.
This is a cloneThis font relates to my original theme, ‘Messy’, which was developed based on the Brazilian slums, Favelas. In Western culture, these are viewed as ‘messy’, however in Brazilian culture they take great pride in their homes. This reflects the idea that people respond to the same theme in different ways depending on their cultural context. This font is designed to be used at large display sizes of 100pt or more as this means that the detail in each character can be clearly seen.
In this typeface, I have explored the idea of order and systematic design in an urban surrounding. Following the natural lines from the cement of a regular brick wall I have used the repetitive pattern and method to mark the outline to my type face. This font is primarily created for using in titles and headings rather than in a body of text as it is more impacting as well as visually striking and eye catching.
