WHAT SHOULD I MAKE NEXT?
My first fonstruction is based around the theme of malnutrition, but focuses on lesser acknowledged end of the spectrum, over-nutrition. I took inspiration from nature of skin and fat on overweight or obese bodies, putting emphasis on the folds and bulges you might typically see on the skin of a larger frame.
I've been wanting to do this kind of font for ages, think of it as a soft square or a hard circle. Since it's been so long, I can't really remember the exact source of inspiration, but I do remember it had something to do with kix and his work.
The ability to kern now has obviously made the spacing better than it would have been otherwise. Thanks, Rob.
07.23.12 Soft edge sans serif. Almost stencil but not quite. 03.23.15 Nudges galore. Reworked D, F, K, M, N, P, V, 8, etc. Letters consistently conform with 1:3 slanted bricks. 093017. Smoothened A like I originally envisioned with new bricks.
I made another font, just like everyone on this website. I learned about the composite tool and used it a few times in this font. I hope you can use this font.
