ChronoType is not the first recreation of the original Chrono Trigger font on the web, but certainly the most accurate and comprehensive you'll find.
The font is based on the complete set of the game's official and fan-translated characters and thus also features the Japanese hiragana and katakana alphabets as well as Cyrillic and Greek letters, countless additional stuff like special characters, unique glyphs, and whatnot.
The base font size and recommended setting for ChronoType is 16pt and multiples of that. Use metric kerning and no additional smoothing effects for the ultimate Chrono Trigger experience.
Chrono Trigger on the SNES was developed and published by Square in 1995.

Inspired by electronic circuitry, combined with a retro flavour in the structure of the letterforms, this display font is well suited to any computer / electronics or technology related application.
The word ‘systematic’ was taken as a starting point for development, and led me to draw upon a personal interest in the inner workings of electronics. The ordered chaos of all the connections running hither and thither is extraordinarily beautiful.
An alternative version with the external connectors removed.

This is a cloneMonospace, single-case display font based on simple geometric rules. Starting with a square, alphanumeric characters are created only by rounding corners, adding a center hole, or adding vertical or horizontal slots, with few exceptions.
Expanded from a logotype designed for a portfolio piece- interesting for titles, headings, and other decorative use but too stylized to be legible in larger blocks (try it out though!)
Alternate glyphs are included in the "uppercase" set.
