‘Scrap Paper’ is a bold, display typeface inspired by the theme of compression. The letterforms were created from drawings of a distorted alphabet, formed by screwing up each letter printed onto a piece of paper, hence the name. The scrunched up type make for a ‘grunge’ feel, perfect for a large format, yet still visible when used at a smaller size.
A font no one asked for, with no discernible use case, Refraktury (inspired by Volker Busse's F25 Blackletter Typewriter font) is a monospaced black letter font, suitable for typesetting math the hard way, illegible code listings, and oddly kerned newspaper marquees. It's a simplified mix of several different styles, mostly Fraktur and Schwabacher. It covers the ISO Latin-1 block, because why in the world would you care if it covers anything else?!
Based off of the text tool in Flipnote Studio 3D. Thank goodness it finally got released in North America! Includes full alphabet, numbers, punctuation, accents, euro, and improvised @. Other letters will come soon, but I doubt Japanese letters will be added, as the North American release does not have Japanese letters. =UPDATE LOG= v2.0: Long overdue International Update! Added Extended Latin-A, Greek and Cyrillic. v1.2: @ sign edited. It looked kind of wrong to me. v1.1: Added several More Latin characters. v1.0: Initial release. My final entry in the competition. Inspired by Mazey, zlabyrinths eYe/FS, and wavelength. Each glyph has its own maze, and each maze connects with the next. Tilde ~ and low line _ connect words, grave ` closes beginnings and ends, and the left and right arrows < > are for the start and end. There are also some alternates in Extended Latin A. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks!
