A piece of constructivism inspired by Dutch artistic movement "De Stijl".
This is a clone of STF_FABRICON_(OUTLINE)Home blends contemporary sans-serif characters, created using negative space, with ornate mosaic patterns to form a decorative display font in the style of kitchen tiles. Each character is unique - set against four identical patterned tiles. This typeface is very versatile and functional insofar as that it has the potential to be used in a variety of diverse settings such as magazine article headings, pottery and ceramic prints, wall-hangings and shop signage.
This font was created around the theme of repetition, it was inspired by Art Deco design and how repetition and pattern aren't just pointless ornaments but fundamental to the structure of the font. I have been able to reach this stage after 5 weeks of continuous development, sketching and experimentation which I focused around trying to create a bridge between 2D and 3D fonts. Built up of a single repeated component this font is not suitable or made for large amounts of text, but instead has been created to highlight the strength and complexity of each individual letter. http://oliver-james-town.blogspot.co.uk
Brick Basket in a format that's more useable for graphic artists. While the original was made for building new font designs, this one is made to be useful as a font in its own right.
I will update this one, along with the original, any time I have new ideas. Both designs have bricks that are unique to them, as well. This is due to glitches I encountered while cloning as well as the fact that BBRev2's designs are specifically for graphic art. BBRev2 also contains a few stock FS bricks just to expand the range of textures it can create.
This is a clone of Brick BasketI was playing with tiles and designed this font as units to create visual texture. Hiding letters in them came to me by accident when I did an overlay instead of a straight copy-paste. The letters are pleasently difficult to see - but for tiling interesting units in large sizes this font should be suitable.
Zakhrafa is a type of Islamic art which consists of embellished geometric designs. It is often used to complement Arabic calligraphy on architecture to bookcovers and various media. The inspiration of this font comes from the various Islamic patterns that can be seen on buildings all across Qatar. After living there for 8 years, I learned a lot about the Islamic culture which is what I want the font to reflect.
This is a clone149 custom bricks for your perusal! Only custom bricks are in the palette, so you can clone this and easily start drawing right away.
I'll definitely be adding more with time. I love this sort of experimentation!

Another experimental font for texturing work. This one uses only an 8x8 grid, but since it isn't pixel art, a much greater variety of patterns is possible. Every glyph in the font repeats as a seamless texture in both directions.
