Recreation of the small pixel font from the european/north american release of Climax Entertainment/Sonic! Software Planning's "Shining Force" (1992) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
This font is unusual, as each character not only comprises two tiles (for its height), but also features characters that are wider than the maximum 8px tiles. In the game's tile set, this was achieved by using a custom encoding, where a single tile contains the combined values for two horizontal tiles.

The width of each character is also variable and encoded in the bottom tile for each character. Unfortunately, I was unable to work out the logic behind the width information bits - so, for characters used in the game, the correct width was matched manually, and for any characters not encountered (yet) in any of the dialog boxes, I took an educated guess...
Due to the complexity of this encoding, I won't tackle the hiragana/katakana large font from the japanese release.

Recreation of the large pixel font from Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" (1991). This is the extended version, which includes additional accented/extended versions of characters (based on the different european releases of the game).
This is a clone of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Big)Color recreation of the pixel font used in Capcom's "Hyper Street Fighter 2 - The Anniversary Edition" (2004) - though it actually made its first appearance in "Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers" (1993).
This recreation uses the special TTF+SVG format, which currently has limited support.

This is a clone of Hyper Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition"This is Solid Snake. Respond, please." Recreation of the font from Konami's classic "Metal Gear" (1987) on the NES. Only the characters used in the game (and present in the ROM) have been included - if you need some missing special character, I'd suggest combining it with my Nintendoid 1 or 2.
Update 4/5/2018: fixed code point for the quotes and double exclamation mark; added the carriage return, box drawing elements and copyright symbol; removed the incorrect em-dash and vertical pipe.
Recreation of the pixel font from Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" (1993) on the Game Boy.
This recreation includes the special/accented characters from the french and german releases of the game. In game, the characters with a diaeresis use an additional tile above them - in this recreation, the characters have been combined properly (and as a result, the height of the font overall is greater than 8px).
As an aside, this font was also used for the fan translation of "For frog the bell tolls" (aka "カエルの為に鐘は鳴る" / "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru", 1992/2011).

Note that the font is 13px tall, as it includes some accented characters (which in game are rendered by stacking the accents above the appropriate character on the preceding line).

This is a clone of 3x7 pixelsPixel font recreation from Konami's classic "Gradius" (1986). A variation on the generic Nintendo font, most notable in the letters V, Y and in some of the numeral. This font includes the special characters from my standard Nintendoid 1 to make it more generally useful, and for the first time includes the strange "horizontal semicolon" used on most of the early Nintendo games' start screens.
EDIT August 2019: it appears I was off by one pixel on the "horizontal semicolon". Fixed now.
This is a clone of Nintendoid 1Recreation of the font used in Capcom's "Ghouls 'n Ghosts" (1988). As some of the characters used a subtle amount of antialiasing in the game, this is a slightly reinterpreted version that contains some artistic liberty, particularly in the special characters. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included. Note the heart, which has been mapped to "heavy black heart" (U+2764), and the !! "double exclamation mark" (U+203C).

Note the special characters mapped to their respective unicode points: !! "double exclamation mark" (U+203C), ?! "question exclamation mark" (U+2048) and "heavy black heart" (U+2764).
Recreation of the font used in the arcade version of Konami's "cute 'em up" "TwinBee" (1985), expanded to include some more special characters. In the game, on-screen text uses both an outline color and a separate fill. To achieve the same look, you can combine TwinBee Outline with TwinBee Solid.
