The idea behind my font is having a shape then bending it round continuously without any breaks/gaps to create the letterforms. I have always enjoyed working with circles through out my design work and it so happened to be a recurring theme through out my font. I experimented many ways on creating circles using FontStruct - this proved difficult. I did some research on how other designers created their circular based fonts. Many used the circle bricks by nudging and layering to create an illusion of a circle. I feel that my font could be used both large and small scale. In large scale you can see the non-smoothness of the curves and makes it seem caterpillar like which may appear ugly to some. In small scale it is the opposite - the circles appear perfect and the curves look smooth. My font is very simple which makes it legible to read in both scales.

Inspired by the word 'fluid', I looked at marks made by ink and water to create this spacious yet urban looking font. The heavy use of circles combined with illustrative ink splatters and irregular shapes create a spontaneous, fluid and messy typeface.

A fun font ... unlike its clone this version has the UC (without the circles) copied to LC.

Do you remember those multi-coloured plastic beads that 'clicked' together to make a necklace or bracelet?
I made bracelets for my family, garlands for the christmas tree with them. I even made holes all round some beads to make 2D snowflakes and 3D animals :D
So, when Fontstruct announced a gamecomp I immediately thought of the games I played with these beads ... This past week I have spent quite a few hours designing and then building a font in the style of click/pop beads.
I hope you will string many nice messages together ;)
Contents: all LC letters, all numbers, spacebar, also "/" , "?" , "!" , "=" , "+" and "-"
Start a word/sentence with the "("
End a word/sentence with the ")"
Space bar is a blank bead
To get a 'break' in the strand of beads: use the "/" once
Decorative beads: "@" , "_" , "#" , "%" , "*" , ":" , ";" , "$" and "&"
If you want blank beads to decorate, colour or inscribe yourself you simply use the space bar with or without the word-gap of the "/", the word-start, word-end beads.

As a first year graphic design student at the University of West England, the first project brief was to make a typeface based on a theme of our choosing. This font-struction was inspired from the word and theme continuous. Space is continuous, its never ending. I’ve tried to use space in my type face and wanted to produce something that was readable even though not the whole letter is there. Circles are also continuous but I struggled with making perfect curves so settled with quite a pixilated look.

A clean, simple font. Easy on the eyes, and a great font for dyslexics. Easy to read, easy to distinguish each symbol.

This clone of Typ(o) Writer 1 has the "serifs" removed but retains the notches. The letter width on ! ? . ¿ and ¡ is increased to be a more obvious end-of-phrase symbol compared to the 'space'.
You find an alternative k on the { and a blank 'circle'/key on the \, an EIRÔN glyph is on the `.This is a clone of Typ(o) Writer 1

The first of a set of "typewriter key" fonts. The letters have different heights, I aimed for larger size letters and some would not have fitted into the circle had I maintained the proportions. I gave the letters 'personality' through slanted elements which do not interfere with legibility but tend to disappear in small sizes.
There is a blank circle on the \ and alternate k on the {

A kind-of slick font that has a lot of curves, circles, and stacked blocks. It's very small because I don't have much experience at making fonts.
