There are several recreations of the original PSone Final Fantasy VII font around, but none of them are either as accurate or comprehensive as this version, which also features the Japanese hiragana and katakana alphabets as well as menu numbers, special characters, and whatnot.
The base font size and recommended setting for Reactor7 is 16pt and multiples of that. Use metric kerning and no additional smoothing effects for the ultimate Final Fantasy VII experience.
Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation was developed and released by Squaresoft in 1997.
~ Reactor7 - created by Caveras after the original main text font used in Final Fantasy VII for the Sony PlayStation. ~
Each letter is made of 7 possible lines (a square with a cross). Sentances form bands, as if cut into a wooden stick or pole. Feel free to use for your conlags (just don't forget to mention me)! It has both English and Russian scripts (matched by sound). Used math to create: this script used minimum amount of lines per letter while making all have equal amount in total, so letters have 5 lines and numbers have 3, punctuation has 2. You can create your own efficient script by using a combination of "5 out of 7" letter parts. Sinmilar to my "Hex Seven" script.
filled version
This is a clone of Epsilonia KingdomLawgivers' font. Vertical members are doubled, horizontal members are not - except when needed to complete vertical members. Overhangs and bends help to make glyphs more distinctive.
Original size: 5.25pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
