3x3 font made for funsies lol

Q-Rune is a modular typeface built on a strict grid system, combining pixel-based construction with archaic, runic principles of form.

Inspired by visual anchors found in QR codes, early writing systems, and hard-edged urban lettering, Q-Rune prioritizes recognition over decoration. Its design relies on stable structural points and controlled internal noise, allowing letters to be identified instantly before their details are fully processed.

Rather than being scanned by machines, Q-Rune is meant to be read by humans. It explores the threshold between code and language, where symbols function as signals first and characters second.

Q-Rune is designed for titles, statements, and experimental typographic use, where form carries meaning beyond legibility.

This is my first Font! If you just want a simple pixel text for what ever you are doing, this is for you!

・なるべく文字のスペースを多く取り、読みやすく作っています！

・原神キャラの名前の漢字をすべて実装しています！(プレイアブル、神、ファトゥスのキャラ名)

・数学記号を多く実装しています！(微分積分学、統計学、線形代数学、幾何学など大学数学の一部まで)

・今後も作れそうな文字は追加していきます！

〇ご注意

・8×8マスのフォントですが、アルファベット、濁点・半濁点、一部記号はその上下にはみ出ます。(上下最大12マス)
また、濁音・半濁音や一部の記号は横方向にはみ出ます。

・8マスの制約があるため、一部漢字はどうしても潰れてしまいます！

・Office系統のアプリでは、なぜか英数以外の文字が表示されません....m(_ _)m

・予告無く文字を修正することがあります。

I created this 98-glyphs font specifically for 4x3 pixel (the smallest possible?) writing in GB Studio for Game Boy games. It also works well for pixel art and a general retro look. It can be used with Aseprite, Libresprite, Photoshop, Photopea, and other apps.

BASIC BUT FUN! Not revolutionary, but a hefty font! It's square but cool! On the letters there is always a side bolder than the other (most likely the left one)! What is your favorite character? Recreation of the font used in the text boxes in Super Mario World. Monospaced version.

This is an objectively better version of my NEStyle font.

Not finished. Will add more glyphs soon. Some inconsistencies may be fixed. More versions of this font will be created.
