Recreation of the font used in Capcom's "Ghouls 'n Ghosts" (1988). As some of the characters used a subtle amount of antialiasing in the game, this is a slightly reinterpreted version that contains some artistic liberty, particularly in the special characters. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included. Note the heart, which has been mapped to "heavy black heart" (U+2764), and the !! "double exclamation mark" (U+203C).
Recreation of the pixel font used in Capcom's "Hyper Street Fighter 2 - The Anniversary Edition" (2004) - though it actually made its first appearance in "Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers" (1993). Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included (but, for once, the set is almost complete in this game).
Pixel font recreation from Konami's classic "Gradius" (1986). A variation on the generic Nintendo font, most notable in the letters V, Y and in some of the numeral. This font includes the special characters from my standard Nintendoid 1 to make it more generally useful, and for the first time includes the strange "horizontal semicolon" used on most of the early Nintendo games' start screens.
EDIT August 2019: it appears I was off by one pixel on the "horizontal semicolon". Fixed now.
This is a clone of Nintendoid 1Nintendo's "Super Mario World" (1990) on the SNES contains a maddening 5 pixel fonts. This is the recreation of the two small, 6px tall variants used for the game menus, end-of-stage stats, and the end credits. These have been spread out across the upper- and lowercase. Note the reduced-size 5px tall numerals, and the copyright symbol used on the title screen. UPDATE: in the game, the font has a 2px spacing to account for the outline. in this recreation, i opted to just go for a 1px spacing - if you do use it outlined, make sure to add the extra pixel for authenticity.
Update Sept. 2019: fixed the incorrect "Q"
Zoom out to see it in a smooth form. Font operates at its best at 12, 24, and 36 but it is flexible. How to use: Classic wasd for redstone up down left and right. Classic numerical keypad for redstone intersections. (hold shift for numbers for coordinates) top qwerty row for various redstone devices (including slime to makes pistons sticky. The bottom row is reserved for pistons and repeaters. For any slight nudging of things, press `.
Update: I added "Slime blocks" f. g for hopper. Observer is j. Chest is h.
North, east, south, west, up, and down directions which will help the comparators and repeaters and redstone torches and hoppers. This is done by using Z,X,C,V,B,N. Let us use the example of a repeater, west facing, on 3 ticks delay. First you put a c to make a 3 tick repeater, then you put the v which will put a "West" on that repeater.

An exact pixel-by-pixel copy of the font from the HeartGold/SoulSilver games.
I will add some original characters once the font is done for a more complete font file.
There's only the Japanese characters left to do!

A mostly-4x5 design made for legibility, aesthetics, and an almost authoritarian regularity. This makes it suited for comics, tutorials, general reading, and more. It can be easily read at its original size with the same effort it would take to read a high-res design of the same size.
This design has been tested and reported to make an excellent font for IRC and other chat clients!
