Developped from the basic Raysan design I made to celebrate knowing P2P and appreciating his support when I first started FontStructing, I wanted a joyous more relaxed look to thank him.
This is a clone of RaysanThis ornate typeface was designed with the intention to give every part of a letterform some curve. The end result was a typeface that mirrored the rounded shape of old-fashioned wood spindles like one might find on an antique dinning chair or an elaborate staircase in an ancestry home. Spindles like these were handcrafted and born from the finest lumber a proud wood worker could find. This same type of pride went into the crafting of Simple Spindle.
I designed this type font for a project in college, and found myself really connecting deeply with the themes I represented in this font. Ideally, this wouldn't be used for a novel, but rather a graphic novel or comic. Please send me an email if you choose to use this font, and I hope you share your work with me!

A personal digital reimagination of the lettering style by "Charles Rennie Mackintosh" (1868-1928), a pioneer of the "Glasgow School of Art" and so called "Arts & Crafts" movement.
His distinctive style of lettering has been seen many revisions, revivals, reimaginations and inspired designs alike over the years, and has evolved into a broad collection of available fonts.
This basic stylistic lettering concept from Mackintosh sort-of losely funcioned as the structural guiding principle for the creation of "Ars-Nouveaux".
This FontStruction is an experimentation into creating similar flavored, but still unique letterforms within that same design framework.
First I started to layout the overall basic asymmetrical core geometry from a set of custom rectangles, half arc's and slants for each of the letters bare skeleton shape. Once I completed the full set of 36 glyphs [a/z, 0/9] These basic shaped were then further modified into more sophisticated finalized letterforms.
Caps-only, but with many alternates, accompanied by a set of ornate initials.
Hope you like it,
Cheers
This is a cloneThis typeface follows the theme Systematic. I was greatly influenced by clocks, including pocket watches and clock hands including there internal and exterior aesthetics. As my research and planning developed, my final outcome evolved from illustrative and ornate sketches to a more refined and simple final outcome. I would appreciate feedback :-)
The "TB" stands for "tuberculosis", which is probably what this font has. Still, it was fun to try to create authentic blackletter on such a small grid!
Original size: 9pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
The Zephiest of designs - a gaggle of Roman columns with gongs stacked on them.
This font was designed around the theme word Elegant. I was inspired to create a typeface that was ornate and palatial; it is a ode to Baroque design.
I have tried to emulate columns for the body of the font and created a crowned frieze for some of the letters with decorative toppers for the remaining characters.
