This is a clone of STF_LENA_(Inline)Paris, Berlin, Moscow in the 1920s... Art Deco, Bauhaus, Konstruktivizm... Effervescent people! This font is for Sandrine, the woman with white hat in the picture, and for all the people who together built the world. See also ztefan and zergei.
Brush script, art deco, classic engraving, three genera of gothic (sans serif, blackletter, and ancient alphabet!), runic, hieroglyphic, and yet still some futuristic tendencies all informed me. But do they blend?
The handwritten quality of a broad-nibbed pen or skillfully wielded marker provides the binding agent. An emulsion of all these influences, it is at once all and none. Even the strict modularity begins to melt into the background. Yet so distinctly fontstruct...
This is a cloneDecorative font in 'basic' and 'more' Latin. It's crisp and spacious, allowing easy reading at smaller point sizes from 10 upwards. I have not checked how large it can get before the building bricks become disturbing in the flow of the edges. It can be used in conjuction with my "Ritual Minutes" which has no descenders on the UC and LC. Not sure if this is more of an 'Art Nouveau' design or points more towards a generalised 'Victorian-ish'. It doesn't really matter, someone will find the perfect text to show its visual qualities ;) NOTE: the space is reduced to something like 1/2 letter width. To get a 'good' space between words you need to hit the space key twice. Do you think this is acceptable? Or should I increase the space?
I love the look of this style. The name is self explanatory ;) if you know French.........
UC, numerals and some symbols have one line thicker than the others, LC only has the thinner lines. LC can be used on its own if even thickness of lines is desired but it is 3 px shorter than UC which will show clearly when using Basic Latin LC in combination with Hebrew, numerals, some symbols and some punctuation marks. Cyrillic and Hebrew added. Latin1 will come eventually ;)
WiP. Kerning in Basic latin is finished. In Fontstruct, it is not very convenient to do kerning between uppercase and lowercase and in accented Latin because there are no kerning classes here, so I am not doing them yet.
