This is an adaptation of my previous exp. "Noon", following feedbacks from FS staff. The x-height has been extended, so that upper & lower cases are more matching. Also 'i'&'j' become more recognizable. Thanks for viewing. This is a clone of Noon

For my font I tried searching for a new meaning to explore the theme of curves. I did this by approaching it in a different manor by looking into the value of 3D curves, for example poles. This was then developed from phone masts into the forms of aerial and radar. Its name derives from my view that the font Arial could be updated and made more exciting and I did this in a literal way, its primarily a headline font, but could also be used for logos, especially within the telecommunication industry.

The idea for the font came from looking at the curves in Wind ornaments. The block like structure of the wood and then the spiral effect. I also looked at Wooden table arrangments that resembled wood shavings, like ribbon curls. I wanted a contiuous theme to run through and link all the glyphs together. So i used the ribbon like structure as the backbone to all the uppercase and then serifs to link the Glyffs to each other. There is also a suggestion of movement in the style, as it is italic. I kept the decorative theme as well, to stay true to the concept behind the idea. This is a display font with a limited and definate purpose.

This font was designed based on construction and metal structures found in bristol. It is curved but still quite heavy in form.

This is my first time creating Fontstruct, my theme behind this typeface is Curves. I have been inspired by my surroundings but also have been looking at intricate mosaic artwork.
I do feel that maybe the letters C, D, & E do not work aswell as some of the other letters in this typeface.
Welcome to Feedback.

My first shot at using font struct, based on the theme of curves, inspiration came from the look of graffiti and old 60s posters. A first year project at UWE Bristol,

This font looks at natural forms in nature such as plants and leaves. It reflects there patterns and organic curves. Each letter has at least one line of symmetry creating a kaleidoscope effect.

For my Uni project I had to create a font based on the word 'Curves'. Drawing inspiration from hand drawn type, I created this font.

An update of Curva Old. I fixed up several problems to do with curves in strange places but I kept the old one because the way it was is still a good style. This font and the other one where inspired by a font called Abode and a font called Danube. This is a clone of Curva Old

So here it is...Green Eyed Girl.
This project at UWE Bristol was to create a typefacd based around one word; so I looked into the word 'Curves' (which I probabily will never do again) and eventually came up with this. The idea came from looking at curves in lizards and vines, then linking the curvy-reptile theme with Medusa - hence 'Green Eye'.
Originally I was going to base it on a serif typeface but found that far too difficult on Fontstruct so used aggressive strait lines - similar to pre-historic drawings - to provide contrast against the seductive curves to make it seem like an Evil Temptress. The serif's are there to add authority.
So thats Green Eyed Girl by me...Sophina B.
*I think it may need tweaking in the sense that I've aligned each letter to the edge of the curve rather than the edge against the serif or stem. *
