'Walking' is a font I have created based on several aspects of the theme 'repetition'. I looked at the repetitive motions we act out as humans, such as walking across a path several times but in different manners, writing a sentence over and over again, and even aspects of a typefaces personality such as serifs which repeat over and throughout this font. I wanted the font to convey not only the personalities of those who repeat actions, but also that of myself and my own mannerisms through the mixtures between symmetrical and non symmetrical characters. I chose to keep this an uppercase typeface based on the way that text looks when it is all in caps - like someone is shouting; and this, again relates to my theme of repetition in that of monotonous volumes and voices. I really wanted to explore the physical connotations of repetition.

Fashionably Anarchic Striped Edition.
"Fashionably Anarchic" is a typeface inspired by the 1970s Punk movement- paying notice to the political, economical and social issues of the time and how they affected what we commonly refer to as the “Punk Aesthetic”. Ransom note lettering, stencils, silkscreen printing and the appropriation of current cultural imagery aided the movement to deliver its important message of rebellion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Starting off with the theme "Dangerous", my focus for this project drifted to the definitions of both “rebellion” and “anarchy”. This naturally led me to the Punk movement and how it’s graphic style has been adopted into contemporary design practice. These graphics were often rough, raw, weathered and distressed- all of which I’ve tried to incorporate into my own type’s design. Ironically, the fact that this “style” is being used for commercial gain goes against the very foundations of Punk itself. This realisation spurred on the font’s name “Fashionably Anarchic”.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This typeface would be best utilised in consideration to posters, flyers and possibly book covers (providing the content matches the attitude of the font). Thank you very much, all comments are welcome!This is a clone of Blimey! Rough
Hours of brickstacking :). Lowercase and digits will be added soon, it's
really difficult to make any character without copying. These letters were
inspired by shapes, that are being cut from colorful paper.
My font seems to be not to bold or thin which I like and I added lines going through them so it would have something interesting. I think it is easy to read. The one that needs fixing is the K.
Use the Big Fat fonts with each other in different colours for awesome chromatic effects.
Inspired by the award winning Optica by Manuel Guerrero, this is Big Fat Shaded's big sister. Same letter shapes but with a more vibratory, well, vibe. Great for drop caps. The two-tone effect still works - just set one layer in uppercase, one in lowercase.
A blank vibrating square can be found at "-" and space, and the uppercase is at "_".This is a clone of Big Fat Shaded
