I love the traditional French biscuits made on the French west coast where Loire meets Atlantic.
The biscuits are thin, crunchy, light, not too large, not very sweet, melt on the tongue, and biscuits very like the original can be made/baked quite easily.
The traditional version has a limited range of letters, enough to write the name of town, manufacturer and product. I've been unsuccessful in finding an image of the font which contributed just a few letters to decorate these biscuits.
I spent some time looking at other type of the Victorian/Art Nouveau era until I had collected enough information to help me design the missing letters. I added the French diacritics, naturally. I think my additions look successful and the whole font looks quite Art Neauveau and in the style used originally.
The square brackets [ and ] make a biscuit shape when used 'blank'.
Bon appetit, enjoy your "Biscuit de l'Ouest".
This is a clone of Petit BiscuitA recreation of the Super Mario Maker font. Now with lowercase characters and accents! UPDATES: Sep 13, 2015: I've also been made aware that the '7' has changed between the promotional material and the actual game. I've updated the actual '7' to reflect the in-game character as it is more legible. The '7' in the promotional art is now taking the place of the Dagger (†), because honestly, who uses that? In all seriousness, if anyone can suggest a better home for it, I'm all ears. Sep 17, 2015: Found a reference for the letter 'J' and updated accordingly. Nov 12, 2015: Several glyphs have been updated! Notable changes include the ugly old '*' being changed into a star, and the '†' being changed into a crown, as well as several minor tweaks here and there.
This is a clone of Super Mario MakerMy final entry in the competition. Inspired by Mazey, zlabyrinths eYe/FS, and wavelength. Each glyph has its own maze, and each maze connects with the next. Tilde ~ and low line _ connect words, grave ` closes beginnings and ends, and the left and right arrows < > are for the start and end. There are also some alternates in Extended Latin A. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks!
