ColorComp entry, inspired by the Memphis art style. I started this originally a few years ago with several color variations (using the three main colors), but I couldn't decide which ones to go with, so this sat unfinished for a while. In the end I decided to go with this.
This is a cloneFonticello: a hybrid Italian word from Monticello and Fonticelle. (The Italian pronunciation of "cello" sounds like chello in English; child, chimp, cappuccino.)
This italic was more difficult to build than I espected (especially the glyphs K, M, S, X, g, k, x, 2, 5, 6, 8, ß and a few others). There are still shapes that are very hard to achieve using the current FontStruct's tools... but nothing is completely impossible if you dedicate the time to it, the results are often surprising. So it also took me much more time to complete the entire character set, but I'm happy about the final aspect of the font: it looks curiously forceful, positive and fresh at the same time, and I like it, despite not being 100% happy with some glyphs. Kerning isn't finished. Suggestions are welcome, folks. This is my 2024 font for Xmas: Happy holidays to you and yours, dear Rob Meek and all the FontStructors wherever you are!
recreated off of faith: the unholy trinity
certain characters are taken from logan roman's version of the font

This is my entry in the NumbersComp...
I'm sorry that it does not live up to my standard, but I simply don't have te time to be a contender this year. My entry is only because I know I would be mad with myself when I wouldn't submit at least "something.
Cheers, and good luck
Tylluan (Welsh) = owl (English)
Having looked at this font to add glyphs for the language one of my friends uses I decided to change some of the original glyphs, for the fun of change ;) ....... if you saw, remember and now hope to download the original basic English version: sorry, it's out of circulation unless I decide to remove the asked-for glyphs/shapes in this version so that you can DL the new basic Enlish version with support for my language and some fun dingbats. This particular upgraded version of Tylluan won't be downloadable unless the 'owner' of it allows me to offer it to FS members .
I changed some curves, improved the e-mail symbol, added curved blocks and glyphs for some European languages including Welsh (( RAY if you want to use this DO let me know here via PM !!!)) You'll also see the Eiron := aka. interrobang (en), exclarrogatif (fr), Fragerrufzeichen (de) and some asked-for dingbats
This is a cloneA semi-serif font based off Cartographer.
This is a clone of CartographerDOBINI BALWAUM (Inline) — Didone-style 18th century modern serif
═══════════════════════════════════
Dobini Balwaum is a Didone, or modern, serif typefaces inspired by the works of Bodoni, Didot and Walbaum.
This font had been in the making for quite a long time as I ren into several design difficulties along the way. Most challenging parameter was the inline width. By default the width for the inline was set at 0.125 (or 1/8th) grid units.
Maintaining a constant width for the inline proved to be next to impossible. Therefor it evolves around a 'close' approximation of 0.125 units instead. Stroke weight for the letterform contours also proved to be somewhat of a constraining factor for the overall design concept. As it limits the ability to build complex geometry.
Due to the complexity in brick arrangements the font remains having some minor imperfections that I wasn't able to polish out so far yet, and some may never will..
For now only Basic Latin letters, it remains a WIP
I hope you like it so far,
Cheers

“Does this font look trustworthy to you?”
This took a while to make but I’m very happy with how this turned out (even though this is far from finished!)
If you have any suggestions for improvements, please tell me in the comments and I will try them out if I can.

Based on the font 'Kettler' (Eric Olson, 2002), which in turn is a tribute to the great 'Courier' (1955) by Howard "Bud" Kettler. As often happens to me, this recreation was born from the attempt to improve some characteristics of the original glyphs that I considered appropiated, in addition to being able to have a personal modern typewriter font. The monospace of this kind of letters has been a bit relaxed on this occasion. PS: Thanks for the helpful hand from @Sed4tives!
