Inspired by Malamite, I made a Xevi language font. The font design is based on the MSX game called, Xevious Fardraut Saga. The lettering, however, are based off the website I've found. It is in Japanese, though, http://fumapero.com/xevigo/. There is one punctuation that has the "-". All letters are lowered cased due to the Xevi number system using the Hexadecimal base. To use the numbers, 10 (Pasto/Pusto)-15 (Kurto), use the capital letters A~F. I used the different type of "b" from the Fumapero Xevigo website so it will look more modern. I hope you enjoy the font and tell me what I did wrong so I can correct it. Gust Notch! (Best of Luck!)

Recreation of the pixel font Namco's "Phelios" (1990) on the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis.
Interestingly, it does not use the (fairly standard) font from the arcade version (1988) but - and something I only found out after I finished the recreation - actually uses the same font as the arcade version of Namco's "Dragon Saber" (1990) http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/dragon_saber but with a more limited set of characters.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

* a-q are used for miscellaneous specials like PTS, 100, 300, 500, 700 and 1000 point score
* ", !, -, / represent their respective characters
* @ is used as the copyright symbol

A recreation of the English characters from the Super Famicom/SNES game "Tales of Phantasia". This is the text from the Japanese version of the game, not from the fan translation.

UPDATE: I have altered the letters 'U', 'H' and 'X' in order to increase legibility. - 14/11/11
The outcome of my first Graphic Design project at the University of the West of England. This typeface is based on the designated theme of 'Evil'. As the project developed I began to move away from the rather stereotypical 'dark' imagery commonly associated with evil and approached the topic in a different, light-hearted manner. This led me onto the theme of villainy in popular culture, from film to video games. The classic ghosts of the arcade game Pac-Man are designed with such consideration - they are required to communicate both character and threat to the player, whilst still falling within the limitations of the 1980s hardware. As a result, these creatures personify the concept of 'evil stripped down to its essential forms.'
