This is a derivative work of Elspeth LC. Filter: both horizontal and vertical brick size are set to 0.5.
Recommended font sizes: 24, 48, 72, 96, 144, 192, 240. Other sizes result in different moiré patterns as
the bricks partially overlap the screen pixels. Kerning is not perfect, some minor ovelapping may occur. This is a clone of Elspeth

A monospaced pixel font with over 8000 glyphs! 7 pixels wide, 12 pixels tall. Some characters may be wider than 7 pixels to make them connect with other characters.

No respect at all of any conventionnal font design: no ascender, no descender, monospace, monoheight, interior slab.
The main focus was to create a readable font and been totaly free of any standard design restriction.

Feels like years since I've shared my last fontstructions...
This one's been lying around in the private box for quite a while because I didn't find the inner peace to do an extended character set. Originally I just trying to get an acceptable A using a 2x1 filter setting, but somehow it grew to a whole typeface. (That makes any word written in capital letters look like a tobacco brand, hence the name...)
Sample coming after a few hours of sleep!
(My favourite letter is by the way the ß... Inspired by Berlin street signs.)

This is my attempt to create a robust, almost military grade slab serif stencil. The whole project was largely inspired by the music clip bearing the same title by Nathalie Cardone (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqYHeX0i0NU&feature=related). It is a work in progress, glyphs may change in the final version.

Ultra heavy slab serif uppercase only face, subtly celebrating the 4x1 diagonals of fontstruct 2.0...
I hope some people will find more stylish uses for this than on college shirts/jumpers. It actually wasn't intended to have that standard college slab serif look, and I desperately believe that there's still a nuance of difference, but that might be an illusion.
I btw just copied the uppercase letters on lowercase slots to make it more convenient. So don't be too impressed by the character count.;)

Slab-serif, Varsity letter style typeface, letterforms filled with aertex pattern.
Uni summer project piece, to design a typeface of any style you choose, getting to grips with Fontstruct. My first complete fontstruction, drawing inspiration from vintage American typography, sports team jerseys, current brands (e.g: Zoo York), sportswear, etc.

Beat the Whites With the Red Wedge, a typeface inspired by the typographic work of the Russian constructivist artists. I wanted to communicate order my typeface, so I researched order within society and this led me to the Russian communist era, constructivism was an art movement within this period. The bold clear typorgraphy of this era influenced me to produce this slab serif version of a constructivist font. I chose to give this font serifs to give an added touch of order and formality. However I do intend to produce a sans serif version and also a bolder, headliner version of the font.
It is a weighty typeface with a strong presence. Due to this nature I would say that the font is best used for subtitles and signange, possibly not main headline text. Also designs that hold an essence of this era.

Something “clarendonesque”. Lowercase is obviously darker than uppercase. I wish I had found a better solution for S. At the moment, it lacks brackets.

This is a tall monospaced font, so I had to get a bit creative with some of the glyphs. But I think it's relatively legible.

Second entry in my Origins family, this is a much smoother slab-serif font based on my previous font (called simply Origins). Next in line is a sans serif version, and some more decorative "fonts" for the family.
Presently a WIP, but the glyphs are all there. I'm just trying to work out all that needs to be done from here to "complete" the family.
