Here is my first fontstruction for a brief set on my Graphic Design course at UWE. It was originally based on the theme of repetition and the game Space Invaders. During development, it then started to take inspiration from the form of a digital display and began to look futuristic. I then carried on with this theme to finally end up with my font, Digitalistic.
Any feedback will be much appreciated.

My most favourite font. Thanks to font 'HulkSmash' for giving me this idea. If you love this font give it a good rating! Broken font.

I started this typeface from the word 'chaos', and from that word looked into things like wars and riots; ineffectually looking into the after affects of chaos. This led me to look into such large scale events as Hiroshima, and the wreckage of that chaos inspired this typeface.

Project for first year BA Hons Graphic Design at UWE, Bristol. The brief for this project was to create a typeface, generating ideas from one keyword. My chosen word was order, and I was inspired by glitches; how the end product can be irregular if there is a malfunction in the process of creation.

Hi! My name is Patricia and I study Graphic Design at UWE. As part of my project I decided to use decay as the theme for my font. I started my research by photographing old building, rusty metal, broken brick, etc. Then I started experimenting and looking at other decay fonts, this is when I decided that I didn't want my font to have the typical broken appearance. So I decided to go for more of a scratchy, rough and uneven font. This is a clone

Using the starting point 'repetition' led me to the phrase 'broken record'. My characters are based around the ridges found on a vinyl. Each letterform is a complete circuit that never ends. A working progress.

This is the second of two typefaces that I have created in response to a brief set in my first term studying Graphic Design at UWE Bristol. My chosen theme for the six week project was decay. I decided to create two fonts, an original and a decayed version. I took inspiration from photos I took of graffiti and tagging around Bristol. For this specific font I was inspired by the way graffiti changes and breaks down over time. 'Decayed Spray' is my interpretation of the spray painted letter forms that crowd the walls of this city... after weather and humans have done their thing for a fair few years. www.jenniferlouisejohnson.tumblr.com This is a clone of spray

I was inspired by the word squishy.i started of looking at squishy objects,i did a few experiments with toothpaste and liked the idea of flow.I looked at Benoit Bodhin and his font Pipo to give me inspiration to keep flow throughout the letters without them actually being joined.

Monospaced typeface designed for my first year project at UWE. The main theme of the font was developed by looking at decaying buildings and structures as well as graffiti artwork.

A 'fun' font, I was playing with notched lines ... The name is based on the 7x7 grid which I did not always use when designing the glyphs ;) It might interest someone?

A fun font about one of my hobbies: sewing ;) It will be perfect on stickers denoting contents of boxes in the sewing and weaving areas in our house, and on folders with fabric samples and designs :)

This font looks like it is being made, it looks more like a stencil font when seen first.
It belongs to the "WISH" family and can be used with the other WISH fonts.
Added are ligatures FF FI FL and ST and an alternative "@" on the small latin ligature FFI.
WISH/OPEN is a clone of WISH/WAITING.This is a clone
