This font has a bold, blocky, and futuristic appearance, characterized by sharp, pixelated edges and a digital, glitch-inspired aesthetic. The letters are thick and uniform in width, with jagged distortions giving them a cyberpunk or sci-fi feel. The design is reminiscent of old-school arcade games, early computer graphics, or hacking-themed typography, making it ideal for tech-related, dystopian, or experimental designs. The font conveys a strong, edgy, and modern vibe, perfect for high-impact visuals in digital media, gaming, or cyber-themed branding.

This is an experiment; I used only one composite brick to come up with such a font.

Mltng Pnt is a typeface that took form from the word destructive. It's aim is to be an illustrative typeface that focuses on the destruction of the natural letter form. This process creates a lot of visual noise, distorting the viewers vision and adding to this sense of destruction on a more palpable level. The figures were inspired by melting butter, hence the name 'Mltng Pnt' (melting point). This name also suggests a point of no return, capitalising on the theme of destruction.

Read as I read 2 is a typeface that I have developed from the previous design 'Read as I read'. With the same aim to capture the movement upon which the letters are distributed around the page caused by dyslexia. A feature common amongst dyslexics, that causes difficulty and uncertainty when trying to make out written words. In developing the typeface I aimed to increase legibility, to make it more universal. Whilst continuing to capture the context of why I initially created the typeface. Representing this by combining the same letter form twice, and overlayingthem in order to capture the aspect of movement. This time all in captials to help with legibility.

This typeface design is a edited version of Pharoan Ultra Bold as it was heavy and bold which gave me more to do with it, the theme of the type is destruction.

I wanted to merge both Deconstructivism and Glitch Art into my typeface. By finalizing my idea I looked at how letters could be morphed by being pulled and pushed, what would it look like if the letter was to be dropped what shapes it could form - instead of taking parts away from it.

do-oh is a display typeface inspired by the word 'squishy'.

I looked at squishing and the movement of squishing something hard and soft and the different forms it would take; I became interested in how an object changes form when squished but how it retains sections of the previous form too but slightly distorted.

I was also interested in the different ways of squishing something and how that changed the outcome.

The typeface is focused on shapes made when I created letters from squashing dough together.

A punk in a suit: the initial inspiration for this font came from the theme 'loud'. My thought process was that actions speak louder than words, and the Punk movement in the ‘70s helped people through a lot of social and economic unrest; punk communicates effectively. Consequently, I approached creating a typeface with the DIY mentality of punk. I observed the approach of Jamie Reid, the zine culture and various band posters to identify with the distinctive cut and paste style. I then considered how this could be used to communicate with more than one audience at once while retaining the punk aesthetic. This led me to create a typeface which is conflicted between serif and sans-serif; it features jerky counters contrasting with chipped bowls; it’s a font designed to appear cut up and pasted back together in line with the traditional ethics of DIY punk. "Fonts are the clothes that words wear" - Tobias Frere-Jones

I started off looking at the word 'curves' and after generally looking at spirals and curved objects I decided to make the letters themselves curve. I cut the letter 'A' out of black cardboard and placed it in a glass of water, and then photographed it at many different angles and positions. I really liked the distorted effect the water had on the letters, and so after changing the theme to 'reflection' I carried on this technique with the rest of the alphabet. 'Pane in my glass' is made up of my favourite shapes that came out of this experimentation.

This typeface has been created based on the theme 'Vibration'. I tried out a wide range of experimentation when it came to producing hand rendered work, as I felt I needed to work out what would best capture the general sense of the word. I tried using inks on elastic bands, attaching pens to a playstation controller and drawing, photographing food colouring over a speaker; all sorts. Finally, I decided I needed something which really reflected the word clearly. I looked at the white noise and the trails that you get on the television, and applied this feel to a sans serif font I had made based on Georgia (minus the Serifs) One of the most time comsuming things I've ever done, hope its been worth it. Any comments welcome.

This font is an experiment in anti-aliasing, or more, and attempt to make things that look like distortions actually enhance the font. Try looking at it pixel size, and large size. At large size, compare far away and close up. If you download it, it will have an even better effect if you have font smoothing enabled. This is a very old unreleased experiment. It's not very good, but I still consider it a successful experiment.

Towering buildings with a mass shadow almost creeping up on the building, with lower case shadow in front reflecting on the street.
