STF_DERBY - Condensed Geometric Neo-Grotesk sans.
The idea was to make a typeface design that would suit small point size body style typography.
■ Multilingual support (94 languages)
■ Partial kerning WIP (8694 Pairs and counting)
==============================================
The fontstruction is a Faux Bezier style approach, to allow the most freedom in shaping the different letterforms and curves.
Font sample is best viewed at 2x pixel size or above for a sharp result.
I hope you like it!
STF_EIN BERLINER - Condensed geometric sans-serif typeface.
Inspired by the lettering seen on a variety of different Dutch and German street signs.
The simple and clean geometric letterforms provide this typeface with a strong legibility in both display & body style text.
(grid size 3,5 × 7 at 2x2 brick size filter)
Enjoy
WIP
All caps geometric gothic sans-serif project. Its a semi bold display design that looks a little like those early grotesque types.
The uppercase O has a distinctive circular shape and has a unusual 3x3 grid square dimension. A number of glyphs still need modifications to achieve better solutions. Also is the character set far from complete yet.
I hope you like it so far
NOBUNTU (Pro) -Contemporary humanist sans style typeface.
Updated version of my previously published NOBUNTU font. This version includes much more characters, symbols, many ligatures, as well as language support for most Latin languages.
It is a medium weight, contemporary geometric gothic humanist sans-serif style design with rounded corners and smooth curves. All curves have a slight top & bottom overshoot. The basic Latin string, numerals and punctuation are fully kerned as well as the majority of important characters in the extended Latin string. But some still need a slight adjustment.
The basic idea was inspired by the gentle round corners seen in the Ubuntu and other similar fonts. (But don't make any mistakes, it is most definetly a different font) ;)
So far I am very pleased with the clean and legible result.
Enjoy!
This is a cloneA little bit of a experiment in finding interresting letterforms in the most basic of geometric shapes and without the use of any complex fontstructing techniques. And the only expert mode feature used for this was making composite brick to get the different slants and stroke weights.
Bellow I will include some further in-depth info about this design.
But, I'm very pleased with the final result.
Enjoy!
A cloned and semi connected variation to to SCHOLTEMEIJER (CONTIUOUS)
This is a clone of STF_SCHOLTEMEIJER (CONTINUOUS)STANDAARD PROFIELEN ― Digital revival/extrapolation of a logotype originally designed by "Jurriaan Schrofer"
═════════════════════════
Jurriaan's original work is a logotype style lettering for a corporate identity brochure, that he designed for one of his clients, a Dutch timber trading company called: "Houthandel Rote - Westzaan N.V."
==========================================================
Schrofer's original work featured the plain black text "standaard profielen" and was written in all lowercase letters. (source image bellow)
As far as I know this were the only characters he designed for this specific project.
==========================================================
It's a very simple grid based modular brick type lettering. Only two bricks were used to create each individual letterform. So they have a profound and inevitably dictating resonance to the visual appearance of the letterforms, a visual presence that I could not stray away from too far.
This stylistical design parameter made it somewhat extra tricky for the successfully faithful extrapolation of the remaining missing glyphs, turning it into a complete glyph-set and basic usable font. The source also remains pretty unclear on how Jurriaan would've designed characters with crossing strokes, such as Kk / Xx.
The original corner brick works well with just this small character set in the source, but the rectangular outside part of this brick fills a substantial surface area, (over 3/4th of a brick in total), resulting in bleeding-like contrast issues. So, having mostly undesirable effects in brick-congested areas or with intersecting strokes.
An additional beveled corner brick was added to address most of this issue.
All 'n all, for this reason I just captured its basic lowercase letterforms, numerals and only the bare essential punctuation marks for making it functional are included for now, no accents !
Cheers!
Folder strips of paper style blackletter attempt. I wish I had better solutions for some charaters, but I had some tough struggles getting good looking glyphs for this style, for example uppercase T took me like 60 attemps and none ever really pleased. So I ended up with choosing the best of them en just went on with the rest. BUT, Zephram came to the rescue and delivered me a propper T, Arrrrr thanks matey!!!

This is a clonePart of a multistyle typeface family "ALIENSTRA".
This actually was planned to be the first but issues with the original forces me to rebuild it completely. More styles will follow.
This is the cleanest variation in the planned display styles.
Enjoy!
This is a clone of STF_ALIENSTRA SOLID (IRREGULAR)Part of a multistyle typeface family "ALIENSTRA".
This is the first one that got finished for this project, a buch more will follow in this same family.
This is a decorated variation on the solid style (one that will follow soon as well).

Isometric 3D outline style typeface.
The glyph have a exact copy slighly elevated and to the right of its original which I then connected with eachother to create the box-like three-dimensional idea.
Because of some serious design difficulties it remains far from complete, but I am kind of done with it for now due to this. For now only support for uppercase, no numerals and very limited punctuations. I think I fully kerned it, or at least everything that is important. On last thing I need to mention, the smallest open spaces doesn't allow this font to work in very small size. These will look filled at smaller point size.
I'm not sure if I will ever try another attempt to finish it at a later stage. (who will tell..) ;)
But I think what I've got so far is too cool for not publishing it. So for now it would do just fine as a logotype or for a decorative usage but not much else.
Enjoy!
This is a cloneOutline style version for STF_CORPULENTIA
Apart from the small asterisk I was able to outline all the glyphs!
Enjoy!
This is a clone of STF_CORPULENTIAWhat suposed to be a revival of the "1957 Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven Brabant" poster, original work by Wim Crouwel, actually failed terribly since I never peeked at the original while I made this (thought i had it well preserved in my memory, but seems I did not).
Nonetheless It isn't a bad font I guess, so...
Enjoy!
BLAUHAUS - Bold Bauhaus inspired geometric typeface.
I know there is tons of out there already, but I had to do one myself...
It's far from perfect, but it was made on a very tiny grid space, so a whole lot of space to occupy with bricks wasn't a luxury this one! (I'll demonstrate a example below)
Still I think it looks pretty rad so far!
This is a cloneThis is the shadowed version for STF_UNI
--------------------------------------------------------------
UNI - is a all caps semi-serif 3-D outline display typeface that was aimed at college sports teams.
The font features 2 styles, regular & shadowed (cloned to a seporate fontstruction).
It makes use of 3 different striped patterns, one for each plane (except the front). These enhance the depth and orientation of the Three-dimensional effect on the letterforms and making them pop out more.
Great for making headline text or to highlight specific parts.
