Kawaii Pixels is a sans serif font that is meant to resemble pixels from retro video games. I took inspiration from Minecraft and retro video games. It would be great to use for titles, cards, and anything you want to add a cute and quirky flavor to.
Albatros is the result of a research on the correlation between genius and mental instability in great artists, philosophers and poets. As in Baudelaire's poetry, it symbolises those who are misunderstood and thus isolated and derided. The albatross is a clumsy bird, but once in the sky and raised over the mass it shows everyone its great wingspan. We are all albatrosses until we are given the opportunity to discover the wings power.
FOR SOME STRANGE REASON THERE SEEMS TO BE AN INORDINATE INTEREST IN PIXEL FONTS FROM THE 1970'S AND 80'S. OK, ITS FUN FOR YOUNGER TYPOGRAPHERS TO WORK WITHIN STRICT RESTRICTIONS RECREATING FONTS THAT WERE DESIGNED YEARS AGO, LETS BE FAIR, THERE ARE ONLY SO MANY COMBINATIONS OF PIXLES WITHIN A 6X6 GRID.
WHAT DOES SUPPRISE ME IS THAT NO ONE HAS LOOKED BACK AT THE FIRST (I THINK) HOME COMPUTER, NAMELY THE ZX81 WHICH WAS RELEASED BY CLIVE SINCLAIR, AN ENGLISH ELECTRONICS CO. IN 1981. IT HAD 1 KB OF RAM (NO JOKE), 8 KB OF ROM AND A CPU THAT RAN AT AN AMAZING 3.25 MHZ. DATA WAS STORED ON CASSETTE TAPES AND THE SCREEN WAS YOUR TELEVISION.
AS NO ONE HAS CHECKED OUT THE ZX81 I HAVE MADE A FONT THAT IS SIMILAR TO THE ORIGINAL FONT USED BY THE COMPUTER. I HAVE USED 5 BRICKS WHERE AS THE ORIGINAL USED ONLY 1. BEAT THAT!
Rocket 5ive Solid
This is a clone of Rocket 5iveA decorative font to celebrate my birthday month :) Inspired by Art Deco elements I saw on a shop window and one of my early designer-cizes (did I just invent this word??lol) which thankfully I had kept private ;) because it was too muddle-messy to show.
I think that this version looks good enough to offer as my June freebee :D
I'll add further diacritics to complete the 'More Latin' band if somebody needs them
Clone of Motorik NBP. In my symbolic logic class, when I was typing out my homework, there wasn't any font that had logic symbols, I thus had to copy-paste each individual symbol from a wiki article. It was very tedious. Hence for the first time in Fontstruct (I checked) I present The Logic font. For this "project" I needed a good, clean font with a "type 1" filter. Thus my thanks goes out to Perjys547 who doesn't seem to be an active Fontstructor anymore. I want to emphasize that absolutely all of this is his work minus the !@#$%^&*, which I put into logic symbols. That's all I did. ! is the "not" @ is the "all" since its like an A # is the "some" since its like a 3 $ is the "therefore" since FOUR % is the "if then" ^ is the "or" since the symbol is similar & is the "and" because duh!!!! * is the "if and only if" /mutual biconditional.
