====[ EDUCATIVE INTRO ]====
At a time when making books was a very time-consuming and labor-intensive process, an increasingly literate 12th-century Europe required more and more books. To keep up with the increasing demand for the spread of literature was a ongoing struggle. Writing materials such as inks, dyes and parchment were very expensive. And it wasn't until the 15th century, when parchment was largely replaced by paper, along with the arrival of the printing press, for it to gradually became cheaper, faster and less labor-intensive.
So it made perfect sense to find other ways to help with this process.
Simplifying a script and cutting back on the decorative calligraphy was the most effective way of doing this.
This led to the development of simplified variations to pre-existing bookhand scripts. One of such forms is littera textualis, categorizing within the Textualis/Textura or simply Gothic bookhand scripts group.
Littera textualis is the simplest and least calligraphic form of textualis. It was developed with just two main goals in mind, to save time and costs. The simplified letterforms could be written much quicker than the more calligraphic and luxurious variations. It offered a more cost effective and faster version to the script. It was often used for less important literary works and academic papers.
It functioned as the standard bookhand script in the Netherlands during the 14th & 15th centuries.
====[ ABOUT THIS FONT ]====
TEXTUALIS BATAVICUM - A calligraphic inspired Blackletter/Gothic bookhand script. Essentially a Textualis/Textura inspired work.
The design mainly follows the concept for a traditional form of littera textualis bookhand script as was described in the intro written above.
It remains a work in progress and I will add update info for this font in the comment section bellow.
Some character still need slight adjustments, but so far I am very pleased with the result. As you can probably notice, the uppercase characters have slight more weight than the lowercase has.

Another asymmetrical sans-serif made for use in rulebooks for the Freeform Limitless Adventure Kit (FLAK) pen-and-paper game system. This one is classed as a hybrid and works well at all point sizes!
It began as a Constant Height design, but now I don't classify it as such since most of the letters with diacritics are taller than those without. A few letters (eszett, thorn, eta, etc.) are allowed to descend slightly, as well.
This font has also found some use on signage at a friend's bistro!
STF_PRÆSENS - A geometric retro display sans
The source for this font was the lettering seen on the cover of 1930's second issue of "Præsens". A Polish avant-garde artistic magazine from the interwar period that was designed by the architect Szymon Syrkus. The letters on the magazine's title formed the baseline to extrapolate the complete font.
The magazine got published throughout the first part of the previous century and was similar to other magazines from that same era such as:
DeStijl, Wendingen & Het Overzicht.
042718. The Black Panther is the most dramatic Marvel film to come out yet. My jaw dropped when I experienced Oakland being represented in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And when Too Short was playing in the background I almost lost it. Wakanda Forever! I’m sorry I didn’t create this for the opening, but here it is for Avengers Infinity War.
I decided to be laynecom for a day, and this is the result. Didn't have time for numbers and punctuation though, unfortunately...

Topo was originally inspired by the theme Filthy. The idea of compact lines came from looking at the shapes chewed into chewing gum pieces which are wrongly discarded on the floor. Using topographic maps I created the lines for each letter respectively hence the naming of the font.
I created this typeface around the theme of gregarious, focusing on gregarious plants. I started with drawing the letterforms in ink using a rolled up leaf. The results were twig-like marks which reminded me of the illustrations from 'A Monster Calls' so I developed the letters thinking how they could work alongside this or another story. The name 'This Wild Earth' is taken from the book and I think reflects the scratchy and bold feel of the typeface.
Desk bound is inspired by the shape of paperclips. The theme for this idea is ‘systematic’, my initial interpretation of this was something heavy and solid, to represent machinery/construction, based on industrial systems. The idea behind the paperclips comes from the notion that every ‘system’, in a broader sense of the word, requires careful planning and organisation. The physical form of the letters is intended to appear both soft and geometric, making use of the rounded rectangular shape of the paperclips to communicate this and remain consistent, reflecting back on the original ‘systematic’ theme whilst looking lighthearted and playful.
Richter is a font inspired by the idea of instability. I initially looked at the idea of falling; the aftermath of an earthquake. However, the current design looks not at the aftermath of an earthquake, but at the aftermath of falling. The design is heavily inspired by breaking, smashing and the general consequences of an unstable object splitting apart.
Monospaced typeface based on Otonokizaka Std II (https://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/1399114/otonokizaka-std-ii), which in turn is based on the Love Live! logo subtitle, with slight changes making some characters more legible at small sizes. Can be used as a high-DPI code editor font.

This is a clone of Otonokizaka Std IITypeface based on the Love Live! School idol project logo subtitle. This typeface attempts to be more accurate than existing substitutes (OCR, Anvylon, White Rabbit etc.) (even though only like 14 of the characters are restorations).
EDIT 6th May: Added most of Latin-1 Supplement. Some punctuation characters now take as much space as the whitespace character.
