A retro-futuristic font inspired by this low quality image of a Roland MC-500. (In reality the logo uses the typeface that Future Earth is based on.)
ultra grooves. these letters connect to each-other. you can use the '-' to connect letters from the top, and '_' to connect letters from the bottom. not all letters will connect, so try experimenting with the upper/lower cases to see which alts will connect to each other. i did my best to come up with as many combinations as possible, but if i missed any that you think could work, please let me know.
GROOVERIDER — 70's future retro display sans
═══════════════════════════════════
Grooverider is another groovy looking display style with that distinctive 70's retro aesthetics.
The concept for the lettering is that of a solid future retro / space-age style with inversed-stress. It's reversed weight contrast adds some additional groovin' funkyness and good old boogie wonder flavour to the font's overall characteristics. Making it somewhat of a hybrid mixture between two distinct 70's and 80's retro styles.
Simple at the surface, but rather complex down at the Editor level, since the letterforms have several tailor-made geometry and curve shapes. Pulling off some glyphs without disrupting the (near) real Bézier curve geometry was tricky I must say. Like for example the joined letters such as lowercase Æ/Œ, question mark, @ sign, number 2 digit, percent sign and lowecase letter S all proved difficult. But also some unlikely ones that are typically pretty straight forward now were trickier within the font's parameters. But I'm pretty satisfied with the end result so far. Little to no compromising imperfections slipped into the design, one or two real minor ones are present, but only truly become noticeable once the size is fully blown up.
It was very fun to make though, I hope y'all like it...
Cheers

This is a clone of Love-inA little bit of a experiment in finding interresting letterforms in the most basic of geometric shapes and without the use of any complex fontstructing techniques. And the only expert mode feature used for this was making composite brick to get the different slants and stroke weights.
Bellow I will include some further in-depth info about this design.
But, I'm very pleased with the final result.
Enjoy!
Personally the title is just as important as the typeface itself. My goal was to create something just as fun as the title. My inspiration was 70’s style typography and design. I wanted to create a groovy feel while still being legible to give it the strength of more than just a title font. Bazoova is funky font ready to be the reinvention of the 70’s.
Just a really blocky font inspired by the many abstractivist typefaces of the 1970s. I based it off of a logo I made once, and it definitely isn't perfect (like seriously, as much as I try, I just can barely get the darn Y to look like anything remotely recognizable!)
EDIT: for some reason it doesn’t look very good zoomed out, so I would highly recommend zooming in before making up your mind about it.
Couldn't decide which version to go with, so I published both.

A variant of Kitchen Sink Rounded with filter sizes altered so that most letters are enclosed within golden rectangles. This is a squatter and friendlier take on the design - good for header text.
UC cloned to LC to make this easier to use...
This is a clone of Kitchen Sink RoundedI went and mangled Spelunker by Zephram. I am messing with the shapes of the spaces between the letters. The name of the font indicates that most of the letters are wearing bell bottoms.

This is a clone of zoftly70 eYe/FSReloaded and much more complete version of zyrup with a lot of remodeled and new characters (more than 130, full caps set included, plus usual kerning). An extra "y" placed in the "™" sign, and the two original alternate "v" and "w" can also be found now in the "fi" and "fl" glyphs.
It all started as silly, trying to slightly modify the original "@"... and has ended in a practically new font (106 created glyphs, 32 modified, 68 remain intact). Seeing the final result, I think it was worth it, the font grow up. Hope you like this new dress.

Looks like the Bauhaus style is trending on FS.
This is a cloneinspired by the logo for auricom from the wipeout games. used for a company logo. also my first time messing around with the connect bricks. not too ambitious, but makes for good displays and still interesting i think.
