Clone of Werner and vastly improved although some more glyphs are needed (like Greek or Russian). It can be used with the parent font. Rounded corners give it the charm so often lacking in 'print' fonts. It provides a pleasant text experience. Takapuna is legible at smaller sizes.
I named it after the home town of my penfriend.This is a clone of Werner

Inspired by the display of a digital clock from the 1970s. Space = word space, &= black-dot rectangle, low_line=white-dot rectangle

Made to please all those people who complain about the abstract 'code' type of fontstructions, shared by some designers here, as they miss seeing 'real' letters in those fonts.
At last you may feast your eyes, brain and imagination on a clearly legible code font :) I hope you'll be able to appreciate and enjoy THE Code Font I made for you.

Looking at the symbols I find a bit tricky to build in a style to match their respective fonts I decided to make a 'tool' by copying the more complex or interesting ones from some of my fonts. This collection will give me a point of departure should I need inspiration or a base for a symbol in a new font. I'm sharing this hoping that it might help or inspire fellow fontstructors.

With Valentine's Day coming up I decided to show that I appreciate the FS community quite a lot. Distributing some love to you at FS: here is a little freebee to get you sending that over-due love message to THE one in your life :) I decided to use the letters from a font I'm working on because they were the only ones I had of the right size for hanging inside the hearts. Once the font is completed I'll add the LC for this Valentine edition ... Happy Valentine's Day!
Printed at a very large size these hearts and letters look great when cut out, and the letters then hung from a pink ribbon inside the hearts ;)

The new bricks inspired me with their more flowing contour. Ideal for decoration, I saw them as small waves.

A pointy display font. Finished as far as I need it at present. Done basic diacritics, numbers and some punctuation. I have reworked the slash in the "Z".

Font inspired by an earlier artistic period. Made for use in smaller sizes.
It is not finished but I'd like to hear what you think of it so far...

This clone of Tag Letters is an outline font to allow colouring in.
Print the letters on thick paper, then colour them in, cut out with the loop for hanging (without the loop for gluing or as table decoration etc.) Pierce the loop and thread ribbon or yarn through if you want a hanging decoration like a gift tag, or used to write messages to hang in a window.This is a clone of Tag Letters

Perfect time to offer a font for the coming festive days: a set of fun letters designed to hang from a greeting card, gift-wrapped item, window, festive tree, etc ;)
The courageous user might print the letters in different colours on an A6 size card and cut out to use like a real gift tag.
The less manual user might prefer to type a message using letters of different colours, pierce the loops to add ribbons so that the inscripted sheet can hang from a parcel, flutter inside a window frame, decorate a bunch of flowers or add something extra to a greeting card... feel free to clone :)
Happy End-Of-Year celebrations !

Inspired by the University/Varsity type faces I thought it might be useful to have a related font with a few added serifs.

Inspired by a map of ley lines which reminded me of abstract art.
I kept the "space" purposefully narrow, depending on word length I found a narrow space more pleasing but with longer words the space needed to be larger.
The large circle on the "=" is an alternative "."

Do you remember those multi-coloured plastic beads that 'clicked' together to make a necklace or bracelet?
I made bracelets for my family, garlands for the christmas tree with them. I even made holes all round some beads to make 2D snowflakes and 3D animals :D
So, when Fontstruct announced a gamecomp I immediately thought of the games I played with these beads ... This past week I have spent quite a few hours designing and then building a font in the style of click/pop beads.
I hope you will string many nice messages together ;)
Contents: all LC letters, all numbers, spacebar, also "/" , "?" , "!" , "=" , "+" and "-"
Start a word/sentence with the "("
End a word/sentence with the ")"
Space bar is a blank bead
To get a 'break' in the strand of beads: use the "/" once
Decorative beads: "@" , "_" , "#" , "%" , "*" , ":" , ";" , "$" and "&"
If you want blank beads to decorate, colour or inscribe yourself you simply use the space bar with or without the word-gap of the "/", the word-start, word-end beads.

Swinging pixels :D for a non-existant game where little creatures walk through tunnels to find coal to exchange for food, several keys to open the gate's locks, mythical friends who help and often leave messages (if all the letters are found that have slipped off the paper), sudden dead-ends which zap energy, warm springs, secret passages which may or may not zap or give energy or a tool or key, gold to exchange for food or tools ....... you get the idea ;) I wish I could code games *sigh*

I have been planning a board game for my grandson's birthday next year; this comp provides me with the chance of designing a suitable font (even before finalising all aspects of game creation and crafting the playing pieces).
You find all UC and numbers; the LC have game pieces in profile(l, n, p, r) and front(m, o, q, s. Should 'currency' be required later, I have designed the necessary symbols and invented their names:
d = denc
h = haf
w = wij
y = yo

I tried to understand how the program exchanged some of the bricks while leaving others of the same shape untouched. I gave up on that research though ... where I was unhappy with the look of a glyph I added, removed or replaced some bricks in the interest of esthetics and there has been quite a lot of nudging to change brick positions for a more logical distribution of 'gaps'. I find this version quite pleasing. Intentional design based on the clone of My Unintended.This is a clone of My Unintended

This would have been great... had I actually WANTED to build such a font. As it is I feel frustrated, after spending 2 hours arranging bricks and reshaping outlines I managed to "save" this unusual formation? I had to leave the pc, on my return to finish the font I looked at the preview, and 'horror': YetAgainTheBrickTrollAttacked.
Anyway, it looks like fun and after I have understood the logic to the changes I just might build a font to look like this one but 'better' :D

For your Halloween, Guy Fawkes or 'disguise' party invitations ;) or for anything else .........
I've tried to keep it stark, simple, memorable with some unexpected bits, and I used a bit of nudge to get there :D
