Thank you elmo :) Designing dingbats makes a nice change after hours of work on letters. Some of those shapes inspire me to make a new 'text font'.

Seeing your G glyph I've recognized something like a handcraft needle that we use in Spain to make surprising works with cotton yarn called "Tapetes de ganchillo" (something like "Hook-needle's mats". I add a sample. I'm right?

Wow elmo, that is a beautiful item! We call the tool 'crochet hook' and the work is simply called 'crochet'. My 'G' looks similar to your hooks IRL, imagine it stamped out of a very thin strong metal sheet; it doesn't have that bulbous head before narrowing into a notch. My 'V' is also not quite like a crochet hook, it is more like the needle you find on a knitting machine, but of thicker metal and has a thick handle to make pulling the yarn through the carpet base.
