Clone of Capcom Serif Large, but edited to look more typographically consistent. Enjoy! (Renamed from "v2" to "Remix" because it just sounds better; no other edits have been made.)
This is a clone of Capcom Serif LargeA fairly obscure video game font for you, this being the serifed font from thte 'Puyo Puyo' series of video games (if that name sounds unfamiliar, these games were reskinned in North American and released as 'Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine' and 'Kirby's Avalanche'.)
The base alphabet, numbers, and several punctuation are all authentic to the game (the inverted ? and ! are always easy to make, which is why I always include them, even if not a part of the game proper). However, there's plenty of custom glyph work here with the punctuation and the accented lettering.
Enjoy!
Recreation of the pixel font used in early UPL games: the alphanumeric characters were first introduced in "Nova 2001" (1983) and the punctuation/special characters were added starting with "Ninja Kid" (1984). It at first appears like a copy of Namco's "Xevious" (1982), but has enough variation to be considered a stand-alone font in its own right. The font was further used - with some minor change to the punctuation - in "Raiders5" (1985) and "Ninja Kid II" (1987).
Recreation of the pixel font from Konami's "Jail Break" (1986). Fairly standard, with the classic Konami "Y", and a few interesting details in on the "J", "K", "W" and "Z". Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of one of the pixel fonts from Video System's "Aero Fighters" (aka "Sonic Wings", 1992). This font is used for the pilot names and post-level taunts. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
