Note: I don't have left and right quotation marks on my keyboard so I couldn't add them in, sorry for the inconvenience. I only have the straight-down quotation marks as shown in the example of; "".

This is a clone of KabrioletA faithful recreation of the nostalgic 8-bit font with an IBM Code Page 437 character ROM-based twist.
While it has only 381 characters, I'll strive to work hard on this one.
Fast Facts:
The Famicom was released in Japan on 15 July 1983. It was released in the United States on 18 October 1985 as the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Note the Super Mario Bros. and Tetris games use the other J instead of this one I custom made for this font.

Another font addition to the ever evolving and growing collection of revivals and inspired works called LETTERS OP MAAT, a project celebrating and trying to recreate the typographic contributions originally designed by Dutch graphic designer Jurriaan Schrofer.
This time I did a revival based on a sans-serif lettering concept Schrofer did in 1968 during his time with Mouton & Co. The lettering concept was seen on his book cover design for the book "Marx and contemporary scientific thoughts; Marx et la pensée scientifique contemporaine". The book cover only shows 4 lowercase letters, spelling the word "marx". But these pretty much have all the important features to extrapolate the remainder of the alphabet from. At the same time having just 4 letters allows for a much more loosely approach towards inventing the other letter solutions.
I decided to create a typeface family of multiple styles each with different weight properties (Light, Medium & Bold in both Compressed and Condensed form). The medium weight is what was actually seen on the original book cover.
I hope you like it,

This is a clone of STF_JS-SANS MARX (COMPRESSED MEDIUM)UC roofs slanting down from the left, LC roofs slanting down from the right. To have pointed roofs on words use 1 UC followed by 1 LC ; if you want words covered by a 'typical' factory roof-look of the industrial past use only UC or LC.
Numbers, symbols and puctuation buildings are shorter and their roofs slant in both directions from the center; their lower roof corners join any other lower roof corner.
Word space is just that, if you want some decorative item to show gaps or word space use some of the designs shown on symbols, or use the underscore moon. The hanging lamps and sign scrolls are designed to fit on the taller sides of a letter unit.
This is a cloneA WIP based on the font PEECOL published in the 1990's by FontFont
The original was built on a 36 X 36 pixel grid but I've gone for a more flexible 36 X 36/7/8/9 grid. Some patterns work best on an even number grid, others on an odd number grid.
