This is a clone of Rubber BlockThis font is inspired by the word 'danger'. It is based on the shift in perceptions on graffiti and how some view it as anti-social and therefore a danger to our society. Over time it has shifted to be classed as an art form which creates character on our streets; specifically in Bristol. It is inspired by the recent cleaning of the 'Bearpit' in Bristol.
My font is based on the theme 'Squishy'. I decided to produce a typeface with an uneven distribution throughout to reflect the irregularity which I found when researching squishy objects/type. When producing the font on Fontstruct, the smoothness of the letters was altered due to the use of pixels, which I thought worked really well and gave the type a nice style/effect and contrasted well with the smooth forms of the letters so I stuck with it. My inspiration came from graffiti throwups and from basic research which I did into the word 'Squishy'.
