        After choosing the theme asymmetric my thoughts went straight to the face of odin,because of the eyepatch, and since odin was the one that gave the germanic tribes their characters (according to the mythology) the idea of basing this font on ancient norse runes was born. I really wanted that feel of rough, stone carved feel, straight lines were a priority, plus I really wanted to give it the sensation of eroded and old. The name futhark comes from the first six letter of the runic alphabet.

              The uzrolei word (for me) stands for 70% complexity and 30% simplicity. Just memorize all of them and you'll get handle on reading it. -Asterisk still not created -be sure to use caps lock this font does not use small letters, turn your caps lock. -i will make small letters soon -i'll update it as i can

                    Diese Schrift entstand im Rahmen des ersten Semesters meines Kommunikationsdesign – Studiums. Um genau zu sein während der Typografiekurse bei Florian Hartwig. Ziel war es innerhalb eines Tages alle Kleinbuchstaben des lateinischen Alphabetes zu erstellen. Entstanden ist eine Schrift, die sich gut für Headlines oder als Zierschrift, jedoch nicht für lange Lesetexte einsetzen lässt. Möglicherweise werde ich bald auch die Großbuchstaben und weitere Sonderzeichen und Zahlen hinzufügen. Designer: Simon Geist.

                                      Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)

                                      A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!

                                      And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...
