Since the curved bricks overlap like this, let's embrace it.

This one has been called Nova. That is simply due to the fact that the letters A, N, O, and V were the first that I tried out when starting this typeface.

My final say on current competition. Jalgas (Жалғас, Zhalgas) is my name, it means continuation, adjacent. Same technique as in Aroth, but the result is hopefully different. Letters are also stencil, but islands appear when forming a word (e.g. "off"). In progress...

1 x 1 filter.
Nearly all angles are 1:8 for the horizontals and 1:4 for the verticals.
28 grid squares from the lowest point to the highest across the set.
For reference, the lower case 'o' is 11 squares wide and 13 squares tall.
Each character has a 1 or 2 block overlap on the right side to make the connectors touch the next character. This is a clone

First ScriptComp entry, inspired by fs alhambra. Doesn't look much like a script though...

Special thanks to thalamic for reviewing and giving me suggestions for improvements.
A modernish sans on a fairly small grid. The x-height is 7 grid squares, the cap height is 9 grid squares, and the ascenders & descenders on the lowercase go to 10 grid squares.
All natural curves, mainly using the macaroni bricks. This is a clone

Filter 2:2
The large, rounded corners are the standard macaroni bricks.
The tight, rounded corners are made of several several composites and stacked brick combinations. This allows a curve that flows straight into an angle (1:4 in this case).
I did not discover this "smooth tight curve to angle" trick. I stole it from Geneus1...thanks!

My first faux curves font in years. Semiragged, modern serif, supposed to be good for large and small text.
