I created this font to explore the basic shapes within origami and paper folding, this also led to the creation of my other font 'Decami' which further explores ripped or decayed origami.

As part of my graphic design degree we were challenged to create a typeface based around a chosen theme, I chose order. The typeface is designed around how scientists draw molecules. Each line uses the same angle as a diagram of a molecule it also follows an equation for the movement of the strokes, multiples of x in this case x =3. The case around the letters came from a periodic table and when the letters are joined the molecule appears again. This is a clone of molecule

I started this typeface from the word 'chaos', and from that word looked into things like wars and riots; ineffectually looking into the after affects of chaos. This led me to look into such large scale events as Hiroshima, and the wreckage of that chaos inspired this typeface.

A block font that has a slight condensed appearance. Great for modular settings.

First use of FontStruct, suggestions and improvements welcome. Inspired by energy transfer, the connection between one object and the next. Looked at power and electricity, and then turned to the ordered, structural make up of the electricity pylons which span our countryside. This is what I came up with. This is a clone

This font was designed to have the look of a cityscape where building windows were lit up to create letterforms for when you need that big impact.

This typeface is based on the theme of disintegration. I tried to make it as relevant to that theme as possible but did have a variety of issues along the way. By simplifying the idea again and again I feel that the typeface is both relevant to the theme while also having potential to be used in editorial work. I originally tried basing my font on DIN Condensed in order to pick up speed, but it instantly felt that I wanted to create an original piece. I feel that this typeface would be best suited to a small poster with decorative intent.
