This is my first typeface as a first-year graphic design student at UWE. It has been created based on the theme ''Rebirth''. Inspired by the Renaissance which means ''rebirth'' in French the typeface is a transition from the old to the new. It is also connected to moon phases as a symbol of rebirth and change. The typeface is a combination of sharp elements and smooth shapes, has some futuristic and traditional motifs. Each letter is unique and can be used by itself or in a text with the others. Any comments are welcomed.
This typeface was created with a ‘Protect’ theme and I’ve chosen nature, what we see everyday. I made a mind map about nature and focused on trees, because lots of trees were cut down illegally. My main intention was to remind people about this interference. I sketched a various style to resembles the human interference to trees. Every alphabet has their own human interfere with a little bit sense of Serif, because what I see from trees are elegant and strong.
I designed this type font for a project in college, and found myself really connecting deeply with the themes I represented in this font. Ideally, this wouldn't be used for a novel, but rather a graphic novel or comic. Please send me an email if you choose to use this font, and I hope you share your work with me!

This is a cloneI've returned too late to make a special font for the Reversecomp. I already had changed some aspects of the "Lord Calendulos" version of Calendula set in the clone taken and finished this Lady version today. As my competition entry I flipped the Lady Calendula glyphs horizontally. This means my reversecomp entry font "Calendula Lady" can be used like a plane shadow when placed under Lady Calendula.
This is a clone of Lady CalendulaThis had the look of the original reverse-comp entry. Then the save ignored me, as you can see. Another of my basic fonts died in silence.
