This font is tribute to the Norwegian band Gåte[WP], and inspired by the logo of the band.
This is my first non-pixel font. :-)
I'm not that happy with the "v" glyph (maybe I'll make the "v" look more like the "u". I've made an alternative "u" and "v" in the more latin place, but I guess that "u" breaks with the overall style).
I'm also not happy with the "z", "/", "%" and "\" glyphs, so I'm open to ideas, if anyone has any comments. (The rounded ends on the "/", "%" and "\" glyphs is not the best (zoom in to see it)).
Any better ideas on the name? One alternative is "riddle me this" ("Gåte" is norwegian for "riddle").
Any ideas for the "æ" and the "ø" glyphs?
I've made an alternative glyph for the number 6 (on the À glyph).
The height on the "e", "f", "s", and "x" glyphs should've been the same as the "a" glyph.

Optically spaced 8 pixel tall body typeface, with subtle details so as to look organic, within a pixel grid. Leading suitable even for multiple sentences to be read easily.

To be as as compact as possible horizontally and legible at small sizes... Based closely off of the work of Thomas Whetnall at http://eight2empire.blogspot.com/2012/02/exploring-type.html , this tiny proportional-width pixel font is meant to be used in games where space is at a premium. Its widest glyphs are 5 pixels across (not including spacing between characters), and at most 8 pixels tall. I have made a few modifications from the original, on the characters 'H', 'I', 'K', 'l', 'u', 'w', '0', '@', and possibly changing the vertical positions of some punctuation. I added in some Latin-1 glyphs that show up a lot, like the copyright symbol and the ellipsis. This font strongly emphasizes the difference between glyphs rather than using traditional letter-forms, so while it may look odd at first, the legibility could grow on you.

This is a font for the people who like pixelation. I would like to note that the UPPERCASE and lowercase letters are a bit similar for size.
