Ah, Square's "Chrono Trigger" (1995) on the SNES has not one, but two separate fonts on the go. This is the monospaced font, used for the menus and battle screens.
I've expanded the special characters a bit to make it a tad more useful, keeping the (slightly jarring, thin, anemic, and not quite vertically balanced) style of the original.
UPDATE: fixed a few stray pixels to more closely match the original, based on the actual game ROM.

I've expanded the special characters a bit to make it a tad more useful, keeping the (slightly jarring, thin, anemic, and not quite vertically balanced) style of the original.
And in case you think "hey, this font looks strangely familiar"...turns out the bulk of the characters are a very close approximation of Susan Kare's venerable Chicago.
