Clone of Prometheus Light (Basic Set), which is based on condensed Grecian typefaces by Darius Wells and William Hamilton Page. Many Grecian wood type samples lack lower case characters or numerals (or both!)... hence my sampling of different sources.

Well done, Ricardo.

Thanks, Stephen, and thanks to those who have voted! I just updated the cedillas and ogoneks, which were a bit weak in their original versions.

A lovely font. Congratulations.

Thanks, intaglio. I see you've got a slab or two in your own (quite prolific) repertoire!

Love it! Good work!
keep on working...

Thanks, Axel. Right now I am updating Prometheus Light by doubling the size of the grid. Then it will be this one's turn. After that I plan to make the bolder weights. Prometheus has become a rather big project! :-D
Comment by SquarePeg 7th august 2008
One of my favorites. Can't wait to see the heavier weights.

Prometheus is back, after my struggle to re-size it (special thanks to Stephen Coles and Rob Meek!). It is now split in two just like Prometheus Light, so don't forget to check out the other half. :-)
Comment by SquarePeg 1st november 2008
Update: I finally adjusted the wordspace character for both halves of Prometheus.

I made some adjustments to the lowercase, after running into trouble with Prometheus Bold.

Here is the s, before and after:

@SquarePeg You're probably aware of this but just in case, here's a nice example of Prometheus in use (via Font_ID)
Comment by Rob Meek (meek) 21st september 2010
Thanks, Rob! I was *not* aware of this at all... And you just made my day!!! This is the first time I've seen something I made here in use! :-)
Comment by SquarePeg 21st september 2010
Thanks to continuing improvements to FontStruct by Mr. Meek & Co., I've been able to combine both parts of Prometheus Regular. 401 characters, all under the same roof!
