The Tech house numbers were designed for DWR and made out of stainless steel. They have no diagonals, just semi-circles and straight lines. This alphabet is the attempt to extend this construction principle to a complete (well: caps only) alphabet that you could easily cut from metal.
And - like any principle that doesn’t come from writing – it doesn’t really work. But was fun making.

This is a VERY solid, sturdy font. I was inspired to make this by the "chocobot solid" font. Not only did I make this very sturdy, but you will be amazed when you look at the block size of 4x5!

Inspired by steel cut letters from a plaque seen on Typophile (http://typophile.com/node/70172).
I tried to maintain all its quirkiness, meanwhile probably adding some of my own.
