Please check out the samples, as the thin inlines don't really show up in the preview window. Inspired by Ribbon by Daniel Gneiding and will.i.ૐ's experiments with brickstacking, composits and filters.

I'm impressed, too! Nice idea overall, and wonderful samples! I have the blockier Ribbon Inline to my credit, but you've gone way beyond that with your use of curves and brick-stacking. Kudos!
