A pixel version for the Legolas theme. For obvious reasons of the pixel limitations, the original font was not strictly followed.

Beautiful and elegant gothic style calligraphy. I am again surprised by this excellent, hard worked and well done work here. Could I ask you why the font is pixelated? Well defined, it would be immeasurable, IMHO. 10/10, sure.

@elmoyenique: Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you like it. Legolas Stencil was my very first fontstruction, and it's still a favorite. (Please, don't forget your rating.) As I wrote in the description, this is a pixel version for the Legolas theme. You may find the non-pixel version here: Legolas Stencil v2.

A very 'clean' pixilated font - still quite faithful to its older siblings :)

Congratulations! FontStruct Staff have deemed your FontStruction worthy of special mention. “Legolas Pixel” is now a Top Pick.

@afrojet: Wow! Thank you very much! I am very happy. The Legolas series are my favorites, and none of them got Top Pick until now.

@p2pnut: Thank you for your kind words, and rating. It may or may not sound strange, but I still need a lot of encouragement and positive feedback.

Generally, I don't like pixel fonts because of the ugly staircase effect in big size, and I do not understand the point of drawing staircases in the first place if the goal is to type enough small characters to make these staircases disappear.
But Legolas is different because it is not based on staircases, but on crosses, and you know how much I love crosses. So Ok in small sizes the crosses and it becomes a classic (maybe too much classic for me but well made) gothic font, but I like it more in big sizes (and that's a premiere for a pixel font) because it seems and I would say it is constructed on a modern pharmacy cross pattern at light years from gothic... and it works perfectly.
Sorry but I do not rate, I don't believe in it anymore. I prefer to speak eyes in the eyes, heart to heart

It was "Ok in small sizes the crosses disappear" the word "disappear" strangely disappeared from my comment.

Sorry for that, I could not resist, don't be mad please...
but seriously I like the abstract-like or figures-like (I always see figures everywhere) sensation it has in very, VERY big sizes, and that aspect was not shown on your page

Please hide the k sample, the x fits better to reveal more clearly hidden faces in it

@ROB MEEK : it should be great if we could edit or cancel comments we make on other pages than ours. I'm often too fast on these and then there's no possible turning back. All my apologies Frodo 7 for these ugly samples.

@neurone_error Some other people have asked for an edit comment feature. It's certainly something to think about. I see the comment threads as a discussion, and if people are able to remove or change what they have posted at any time, a discussion can quickly stop making sense. This is probably the main reason that most blogging software does not have an edit comment function. For the moment I would suggest correcting any (serious) error with an additional comment, and taking a little time to check what you've written before hitting submit.

@neurone error: There is no need for apology. I'm always delighted when people are interested in my fonts, and take time to play with. I like your large samples, and I hide the "k" only at your request. Normally, I'm too shy to put out a sample of such large proportions, but it's all right if someone else does it for me.

I just stumbled upon this link on the page of a designer from across the pond, Erika Tarte. It's nice to see this font in real world application. Thanks a million Erika.
