Evelution Lolly font Sample

Comment by HM100 Sat, 30th december

I really like this font, but can you pls make a "normal spacing" version?

Comment by Ptles Sat, 30th december

@Ptles A proportional version of this font can be made and will be considered a companion to the Monospaced version.

Fontstruction will be cloned to create the proportional version and the two will be developed simultaneously. Before this happens, I will rename this font to EvelutionLolly Mono and EvelutionLolly will be the proportional version. The new variant will also include glyph differences on diagraphs (Especially capital ones) to compete with other fonts that have a mono variant

Proportional version here. This monospaced version will stay as this font is designed to be monospaced but for users who want a normal-spacing version, the aforementioned link contains the same font but Proportional

Comment by HM100 Sat, 30th december

Has been expanded with a small amount of new glyphs

Comment by HM100 Sun, 31st december

Lisu will be added to the font, as well

Comment by HM100 Wed, 3rd january

Font will be expanded to support more glyphs

Comment by HM100 Fri, 19th january

Even if Greek support gets added, tonos will be above the letter but slightly positioned to the left compared to acute

Comment by HM100 Fri, 19th january

The font now supports the bare minimum Greek but support for the rest of Greek glypjs (Monotonic) is being gradually coming with a few being supported already.

Comment by HM100 Tue, 23rd january

If you plan on adding the rest of the glyphs in the Greek block, do know that the following charqacters are not part of the Greek script, and are instead Coptic letters derived from Demotic: Ϣ (Shai), Ϥ (Fai), Ϧ (Khai), Ϩ (Hori), Ϫ (Janja), Ϭ (Cheema), and Ϯ (Ti)

If anyone who has the ability to edit comments sees this, please remove the Q in "Charqacters" in the above comment.

The font while will not support the Coptic Unicode block at this time, the Coptic subset of the Greek and Coptic Unicode block is also considered to be added as its the case with many fonts

Comment by HM100 Tue, 23rd january

Greek and Coptic Unicode block was finalized. The next addition to the font is all Latin letters with just Macron

Comment by HM100 Tue, 23rd january

Better Latin coverage was added. If possible, some Cyrillic coverage may be added as well. For now, coverage of Latin, Greek and Lisu is a priority for this font

Comment by HM100 Thu, 1st february

A fourth Style which is a Darker Inline variant will be added. Fraktur/Blackletter glyphs will be the ones reserved for this. The lookalikes from Latin Extended-E will too be added. Numbers won't be included as no Unicode codepoints for blackletter numbers exist and PUA won't be used for now

Comment by HM100 Sat, 17th february

Additionally, PUA can be used to supply basic ascii not covered by Unicode as Inline (Double-Struck, White), Dark Inline (Blackletter, Gray) and Solid (Bold, Black). Though a few others do have solid or Inline variants, like Greek letters
