This ornamental typeface was based around the word 'DECORATIVE.' I have tried to make this style of type and lettering artistic and eye-catching. It was first inspired by the movement and aesthetic look of ribbon and scrolls. With further research I started to look at old fashioned fairytale typography and classic art nouveau artwork and posters. The typeface itself is very pattern based and every letter has a different element to them which has been inspired by something different. -
