Lancaster was born while playing with filters and angles: it's spacial-age look it's a mix between knife-like terminations and wide curves. Very soon: punctuation.

A calligraphic font without oppressive seriousness. I would swap U and V though, to have the U look as 'rounded' at the base as the "double U" ;)

I love how you terminate with angles on the lc. It's such a simple design, yet I've rarely seen it done. I used to do this on many old design I did for band logos. :)
