A nice display font done in a spacey, halftone style, made me think of the Matmos from Barbarella (hence the name)

Very nice font with a retro touch. It works well in the sample text. Are you talking about the Roger Vadim film starring the young Jane Fonda? 10/10

Yes Frodo7 it would be that film! :) One of my faves. Thanks for the input, this one took me about 5 days to get to this point, and as I state above I'm planning on adding more latin...

interesting work and inspiration. for me, 'barbarella' is one of those films i remember from my youth as being way too adult for me but nonetheless very intriguing (never saw it as a kid, but did take a gander several times at the legendary playboy spread :) as an adult i've tried to watch it without success, but still haven't given up on the potential joy it held for me as a kid...unlike 'the wiz' :( anyway, nice job with the font. i keep wondering what it would look like a little more squished down so that it would allow more of the beautiful base pattern to become more pronounced although it probably would make it more abstract and less legible and...well more matmosy :) still, very nice work.

When I first saw this (at pxl size) I thought 'cross-stitch' ... then I increased the size and saw the detail - great work. 10/10

Mmmmmmm .... Barbarella ... sigh ...
